WHAT IS TODAY GOD?

Every time I wake up there seems to be a new challenge ahead of me.  Lately that challenge has just been in staying on my feet long enough to do His will in a day...I have had a case of Clinical pneumonia that has really put me on my back, but I am learning from that just how much we grow to depend on others around us to help carry us through.  I am learning that there is no one of us who has a corner on a gift or ability, but we all have strengths and weaknesses that are supposed to come out as we grow as a church body...not necessarily in size but in Spirit.

I am much better now than I was just a few days ago...able to take care of myself instead of dealing with the infection in my lungs!  It looks like I will be able to attend church services this Sunday even though I am still very weak.  I want to start out this new week with praise to God for all that He has provided for all of us!  I also want to begin to deal with what so many of us have had to deal with through various sicknesses and disappointments in our lives.  I want for all of us to understand that the fruit of God's Spirit is born within us through seasons of growth, and time spent to cultivate the soil for growth.  There are times when we may have to lay dormant for a while before we can grow more or see the results of any labor we have done.  I want for you to understand that it is OK for us not to be "ON" all of the time in life...there are times when God literally shuts us down for a while so that we can rest (whether we want that or not).

Usually when we get shut down we think that it is something that we are doing wrong, and that God does not want to use us.  I think more than that it is His wisdom as a gardener to know us better than we know ourselves.  I am aware of many battles being waged right now among the people of the Gathering.  I don't think that any of it is because of the people themselves doing wrong...I think it is because the enemy is doing all he can to keep the dyke from splitting apart from him holding back God's power in their lives!

In the last few weeks we have been dealing with our personal feelings about our belief in Christ, and as we go through these various things we must understand that God knows exactly what He is doing with each one of us as we try to give our lives over to Him. God knows your life, and He knows your strengths and weaknesses so simply allow Him to lead you this week completely by saying each morning"What is today God?"
May you richly bless God through your life in Him....
