ROMANS 14;-15:13 OUR RELATIONSHIP TO ONE ANOTHER

Greetings in Jesus:

There is so much at stake in the American way of life today that we cannot ignore anything that happens in our country or in our homes that begins to take away the peace and the freedoms we have been living under.  Free speech is a wonderful thing as long as that speech is not forced on someone else through lawless decrees from people that only want to control.

The great majority of people within this country still identify with Christ on some level, but it won't be long if we allow ourselves to be cast as a group that does not truly believe in Christ and that message we will be nothing to those around us.  I truly feel that the only way that we can change  anything is by living out our faith in Christ through our own lives rather than to try to convince another person that what we say is true.

We have to realize at some point where all of this started...did it start with you not really standing up for what you said you believed in?  You can't say don't steal, and then openly steal from someone.  You can't say let's pray and then never let anyone ever see you pray. The one thing that the world is looking for from those who profess something is consistency...ISSIS members give their lives for their cause...even though they have no real reason or cause other than death, and yet they believe enough to carry out their beliefs.  The Christian's have preached love and forgiveness in Christ and yet we have not even shown that in our lives to one another.  Giving money to a cause is not the answer, but giving of ourselves is!  Romans 14  starts with a statement: " Accept those who are weak without passing judgement of disputable matters".  In other words stop trying to convince someone else that you are right and start living what you believe out for them to see.  The words of a song come to mind " You've got to stand for something or you will fall for anything", and I believe with all my heart that those words are what the American people are experiencing today.  Because we have lacked a driving belief in our Lord God we have fallen for anyone's views of what sounds good for a time.  It is time to turn that around for all Americans.  The question is can people see your faith at work in your life?  If they cannot point to you and say without any doubt " There goes a Christian"  then perhaps you should take steps to change that at the work place and in your social life as well.  It is time to take a stand for Christ in your life...don't let another day go by without professing your faith, and LIVING IT OUT!  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
