LOOKING AT THE PROCESS OF SANCTIFICATION

In the last post I opened up a kettle of worms about the process that God expects from us in what can only be called "AN ADOPTION PROCESS".  At best at this point the only thing that God can do with mankind is to offer this adoption process to us to find out who really wants to be with Him.

Let's face it the basic tendency for men and women is to be deceitful today; not only with one another, but with God as well.  This deceit is not something that God will allow back into His Kingdom, and in order for us to be adopted ..graphed, or saved we must first change from the person that we are by having a spiritual change within our hearts.  We may well come to a realization that God is real, and that Christ is King without ever making Him the King of our lives.  We hear many people saying that they are a Christian because they believe, but even the demons believe...and probably much more deeply than we all do because they know the truth...there is no guessing or faith that has to be involved.

In order for us to really believe we have to have a reason for that trust to develop and that faith in God's word to be held within our hearts.  That means that we need to experience God at work within us in a way that will convince us to the core of who we are that God is real to our lives. That cannot be done with any half-heart attempt to confess that Jesus is who He has said He is.  It isn't done by raising our hands at some point in the back of a church that we want to accept Jesus as savior...it must be done by our lives actually being given to God in a way that the Holy Spirit can operate in and through us to change who we are.

I use the term "Adoption process" because God needs to know who is real in their hearts with their desire to be with Him and who among us is playing a game of hide and seek in this world.  There are a lot of liar's out there who have deceived many people into thinking that they have accepted Jesus as Lord of their lives, but who in truth have changed very little from the time they started their "Christian walk".  As time starts to quickly run out in this world for a true repentance to be made we need to realize just where we may stand with God on this issue.  Once that trumpet sounds there will be no second chances for anyone to get it right.  Today God is look at you to see if your life is truthful.  The people around you cannot tell, and I cannot tell if you have been truthful with God about what you say or not...but He knows.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
