WE ARE NEVER ALONE IN OUR BATTLES
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
When someone gives you a gift do you respond with "That's nice! How much do I owe you?" Of course, not the proper response is " THANK YOU" In Ephesians 2:8-10 Paul points out that Christians have been given the gift of Salvation to freely accept and yet they feel obligated to try to work their way to God. Paul points out that our Salvation and even our faith in Christ are gifts through the Holy Spirit as He dwells within us.
We become Christians through God's unmerited grace but we never seem to understand the need to bear fruit at the same time. Bearing fruit really isn't a result of any real effort on our part, but rather the giving of who we are as individuals over to the complete and permanent working of God Holy Spirit within us. Many of us really don't get the fact that when God gives something He never takes

it away again. The only way we can lose it is by rejecting it. Today there is I believe a great outpouring of God's Holy Spirit upon His people, and yet we need to respond to that outpouring by accepting it as a gift and then trying to increase the gift that we give back to God of our own lives in return. Jesus continues to be our mighty intercessor in prayer as He stands before the Father to plead our case. No matter how many times we may fail to achieve Jesus knows that we are trying as He lifts us back to our feet again and again. We are in a soup of sin in this life that we cannot escape, and yet there is a protection that is around us of God's grace and love as long as we remain in Him, and He in us.
My dear ones we have been given life and given it more abundantly than we could ever understand. As we give ourselves to God's will we are transformed and lifted out of the grasp of this world and held in a suspension that will not allow us to be destroyed because we are now eternally in His care and protection. I can't help but praise God for that fact. We may continue to do battle with the forces and the principalities of darkness in this world, but we need to also realize that the battle we are in is already won. I thank God for each and every one of you as we come together for the purpose of growth and thankfulness for His great and gracious gift of love for us. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
