IF WE SAY THAT WE LOVE GOD #3
GREETINGS IN THE POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS:

This idea is not just given to us by a world of politicians or people who need to appear to be good to the world around them, but also by those who desire to have their own positions of power within the church body by appearing to be the more spiritual among us so they are elected to serve in higher places. The desire for this kind of behavior is a part of our human nature to compete with one another. This can be a real problem as the power of God's Spirit cannot work in a church that has this kind of thing going on.
3. " If we say that we love God" 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. In a major way, this verse asks the question about our ability to be humbled before God by realizing that we need to come to Him not just one time, but as men and women sometimes on a moment to moment basis to keep our relationship with Him always in the center of His will. This deals with the truth about our desire to have that very close relationship with God that will begin to transform us into new creatures. The question is what are we seeking? Is it self-glory or is it God's righteousness? What does it take for us to allow God to make us transform from the old man of sin into a new man? God will not even begin to work on that transformation until He knows we are seeking Him for the right reasons, and believe me He knows if we are being truthful with Him or not. He does not have to use a polygraph test or any kind of outside tools to know if you are being truthful with Him; God looks upon our hearts intent in what we say and do always, and never relies upon what we say to Him or to others. God's desire is to be able to set us aside or to Sanctify us from this world'ss influence, and place our lives under the influence of God's Holy Spirit.

4. " If we say that we love God" 1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make God a liar, and His word is not in us.
The truth that God gives us in His word never changes, and that upsets people who would like to live " Progressively". Truth is eternal and always exposes lie no matter what form it may come in.
Truth is not based upon emotional issues that can change the circumstances of our lives or the loyalties of our hearts on any issue. It is constant and sheds continuous light on only one thing; what is the truth from what is a lie. This second warning is not just to laying claim to our salvation, but also about challenging the authority of God in our lives. There are a large number of people today who are trying to challenge God's authority over their free will in some way. We need to remember that we have a free will to choose who we will serve this day, but it is not a choice as to who governs that choice. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
THE UNWORTHY SERVANT.
