WHAT IS OUR JOB IN THE HARVEST OF MEN?

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:

What would happen if I just decided to stop writing to you?  Most people would say " NOTHING"  and you would be right at least to those who view the surface of our life here if you look more closely there would be changes in someone's life however who has been getting fed somewhat in various ways from what has been written here.  My point is not in the value of what is here, but the value of what we each one contributes in our own way to the walk and growth of others in Christ.  Each one of us in our own way is seeds which are sown among the life that has been produced in this world.  Our responsibility is to plant various parts of who we are among the people we are given a divine appointment within this life and to plant parts of who we are created to be in the soil of their life.

In some ways, I know that seems like a very difficult thing until we understand that the process isn't ours to worry about.  It is literally up to the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the life and the soil of the one we plant a seed  in to accept it or reject it, and it is our job to keep on planting or watering or cultivating that soil in whatever ways we are called to as we go along our way.

We are to a great degree viewed by God as one being through Jesus Christ.  We are not viewed as Jesus Himself, but as the ones that He has chosen to be His bride.  That singular body is called the church and each of us is a part of the good grain that makes up that body.  Our influence on this world and upon the people we come into contact with is exactly the same as the reproduction process of the good grain of a field white and ready for harvest. The fruit we bear in the Spirit is used by the Holy Spirit to spread and grow in the soil around us.  We are one body in this world to God which has been spread over this entire world to influence and love all of mankind through the influence of God's Spirit within our lives.  Growing this good seed starts within us; in the inner person. It begins in our own delight in the law of God for our lives  Roman 7:22.  I get the feeling that many people are starting to waste away and lose heart because they have not seen much in the way of any victories in their life, but we need to remember 2 Corinthians  4:16 " Therefore do not lose heart, though outwardly we are wasting away; yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day". and then in
Ephesians 3:16 " I pray that out of the glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being".

As we continue to serve and strengthen one another it is important that we know we are not planting or reaping or watering, or even cultivation on our own, but as one person in the name and strength of God's Spirit.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.

THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
