THE "HOW TO'S" OF LIVING IN GOD'S SPIRIT
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
There are many different ways to plug into God's Spirit which is not being used much today, and that tells me a lot about the needs to have some very bible based facts brought out for our growth in Christ. The main reason is that they do not give our ego's a message every time we read them plus they make us have to do some work to achieve our goals in living for Christ.
One of the first things that we have to focus on from the very first effort to understand God's faithfulness to us, as well as to the promises that He has made to us within His Plan of Salvation for us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord. In this "How to" effort to find God we need only to turn to the book of Romans 3: to find out why God is faithful both to His love for and His promises to us. I believe that God wants more than anything else for us to be in agreement with Him in our heart. Paul writes in Romans about the fact that the real value for us is not in the fact that we are chosen by God or that we have followed rules that have been set down by the church doctrines that we follow, but rather that we have been entrusted with the very word of God. Some of us have much greater faith than others, but the lack of faith on our part will never make God's faithfulness to us less important.
For the most part iin some way every man is a liar when it comes to faith; as it is written: "So that you may prevail when you judge". Paul speaks in this chapter about those who do all they can to try to say that they do not stand guilty before God. People try everything from the idea that there is no God, or I follow my own conscious to " I am not as bad as other people", or even I am a church member or a religious person. This first step in living in the Spirit of God is to be able to settle the fact that we are all sinners and in need of the salvation that is offered to us through the sacrifice that Jesus Christ has made for us.for without that acknowledgment, we are never going to find God in the first place.

By keeping our eye on the very first principal; which is to understand our place with God we can accept then the plan that God has provided to us without the need for our input to change anything in that plan; which is already perfected. It should not be hard to see God for who He really is simply by looking at the natural world. Most all cultures can in some way find that simple measure from God by seeing this except for those who get to such a size that men begin to seek to control what others think and believe. That is ( by the way) where we find ourselves in this country right now. In fact for many generations now men have sought to rule the beliefs and nature of this world through manipulating the faith of people around them. I actually think this to be the most dangerous of all of the evils we face today as more people are prone to giving up their personal views of God in order to fit into a social structure where they do not have conflict and are not required to stand for any belief of their own. Once we decide to take on the responsibility of our own relationship with God through belief in His word no matter what others may say we will have a good start on the first principals of living in God's Spirit. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
