CHRISTIAN SANITY
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I have heard that the main definition of insanity is in doing the same things over and over again to address a problem that cannot be solved in the ways we are trying to solve it. That seems to be a main issue when it comes to our trying to change the message that was given to us by God as salvation for this world by trying to control the way God has told us to deliver it.
That method is not just by giving a lip service to Christ by talking about Him or even by talking about scripture or telling people what God says to do for salvation; it is by living that salvation and word of God out in our life. Even if we try to ever so slightly change the method of witness that God has intended for us to share His Spirit with we are in real danger of distorting the meaning that Good gave to us. The meaning is to say that we can do nothing on our own, and that every step of our attempts toward a transformed life must go directly through Jesus Christ for it to be effective and to work.
No matter if we like it or not we cannot put our own spin on a brand of Christianity that cats any credit our direction at all. I fear that even for those who have begun these various movements within the church that have eventually been given over to the development of a new denomination have failed miserably in keeping that initial witness that Christ intended for us to have. What it seems to have done is to simply open the doors for men to create their own concepts of religion that suits them as they try so desperately to put a label of Good on something that is NOT God at all. Our lives and our purpose in Christ cannot be met unless we can become a simply conduit for God's original intent to flow through.
For a great many people now in our modern church settings the insanity of individual control of what God does and how He is allowed to use our lives on a moment to moment basis is very easy to see. It has become common for me to see the trappings of ideas used to win another to Christ instead of a life that is dedicated to live out God in front of the world, and it is becoming more and more sad for me to see. We have an opportunity to take back much of what has been lost by allowing apathy to lull us to sleep about what is incorrect and evil that we have allowed into our worship and the way we have adopted in living out God's word in our lives; but we must take a stand and make a move now while we have the strength and victory that is given to us through God's Spirit to turn our country and our church life around. We can only return the power of God's Spirit to our individual lives and our collective worship by stopping our attempts to play church, and begin to seriously life out Christ in front of one another.

God has been asking us for a very long time now "WHEN ARE WE GOING TO START LISTENING TO HIM?" We will only meet with failure if we do not follow what God's instruction are for sharing His Good News of Salvation with this world. What that means has nothing to do with what we say nearly as much as it has to do with the way in which we live out our obedience to Christ's words to our lives. This is not about us; it is about what God has done for us, and how we live that gratitude out in front of this world. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
