NO ONE IS RIGHTEOUS

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

Romans 3:10-18 " No one is righteous; not even one there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.  All have turned away, and have together become worthless, there is no one who does good, not even one.  Their throats are open graves, their tongues practice deceit, the poison of vipers is on their lips, their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness, their feet are swift to shed blood ruin and misery have their ways and the way of peace they do not know there is no fear of God before their eyes."

Once again we can see a vivid picture of the generation of people that we are living in right now who have chosen to rule their own faith and belief by not putting God in proper perspective.  The quote that is within Romans 3: here is originally from Psalms 14:1-3, and was also true about the Jews of that time; but if we are unwilling to learn the lessons that history teaches us we are also doomed to repeat those lessons.  The fact remains that in order to live within the protection and the power of God's Holy Spirit in this age we must admit the fact that we can of ourselves do nothing toward gaining any kind of righteousness on our own.  As a man Jesus admitted that He could do nothing apart from the power of God's Spirit who dwell ed within Him.  We are not created with the gift of righteousness, but we can seek to gain it through God's eyes only through our submission to His will in our lives.  All that we can do is to reflect that which has been placed within us by the living and eternal creator.

As I have made reference to in my last writing the first step in living within Christ is to allow Christ to become Lord of our life.  It is that acknowledgement which opens the door to the truth about who we are created to be to God.  The very best we can do at any point in our existence is to be children of  God in a family that He so much wants to create.  We are not created to be masters of our own destiny in the way this world refers to because of the fact that like Lucifer we have not been created righteous; we are flawed and we fail at every turn when we depend upon our own abilities to govern and control our lives.  Without God's favor we can do nothing; we cannot be righteous, we cannot do anything to save ourselves, and we certainly do not control what happens to us eternally without the loving kindness of our Heavenly Father and His Holy Spirit who dwells within us.

This then is the big issue that this world is trying to convince us of; we are not the captains of our own destiny nor are we the kings of our own life in the ways this world would have us believe. We are in fact of no consequence to God at all more so than a blade of grass until we are purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ, and committed to Him as our Lord.  My dear friends there are many different road that we can choose in this life because we do have free will to do so, but only one way can we find truth, peace of mind and righteousness; that way is through  our submission to God's will and to His plan of salvation instead of trying to develop one of our own.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
