What do you say about the 1st day of the year?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
This world is on such a precarious place that no one wants to even breath hard for fear of everything tumbling down. I see the world as a whole being very frightened about the future, and with good reason...it feels like we have given power to the inmates to run the prison. There are other parts of what is going on which is very good for the Christian if we really examine things closely.
We have long prayed for revival to take place all over this world, and believe me there are places where revival is a reality...but in those places there is also great persecution, death and a real reason to hold tight to your faith. There are place where people are well aware of what it means to exchange their life in this world for that which God has promised them; but that exchange is not theoretical, and it is not only spoken of in terms for debate about what doctrine is the correct one to govern worship by. In many places now in this world people really do know what it means to give their lives to Christ because when they do they are automatically putting themselves on a death list.
The things that we are seeing today are changing this world; not for the better but for the worse, and that too is a good thing for Christians, because at some point we will all have to make a decision as to which kingdom we desire the most...the kingdom of this world; or the Kingdom of Heaven, and by doing so we will have to actually suffer spiritual death to the other for we cannot have both. 2015 is indeed here and we are standing on the very edge of time as we have always known it. A time comes when we must give a clear answer and an accountability to what we have always before only given lip service to.
If you have indeed wanted revival...it is coming through persecution, and if you have prayed for Christ's return as I have it too is very close. It is my desire that we all be ready for all of the events that are about to take place. Some have even speculated that we will not even see another election held in this country. The word tells us that many of those things which we have always counted on as always being with us in this world will begin to fade...we are seeing that now if you will only look around you. FAITH, HOPE, LOVE...all are at great risk right now Faith alone has been beaten so badly over the last few years it can barely stand because it is tied into the trust that we can put in the word of another person. Hope is quickly being drawn and quartered right before our eyes as we see any time that good has a foot hold we can see that it was a sham because of the one showing it selling out to evil.
We still have love which God has told us would be the greatest of all, and yet it has become a hollow form of bond between many today. Most people do not even remember the real meaning of Love. We are called on by the world around us to make some kind of resolution that will bring back some meaning to our lives for this new year...I wonder what yours will be? As for me and my house we will serve the Lord! May you richly bless God through your life in Him..
