THE REASON CHRIST WAS CRUSIFIED

Always giving glory to God I send you greeting through the power of God's Spirit and in the name of Jesus our Lord.  Since we have come to Christ we have been exposed to the life that had once lived in sin, but even greater the life that God has promised us through our obedience to the commands given through the teachings of Jesus our Lord.

By His example we have been given a directive to share what God has so freely given to us as a measure of His love.  We have been given charge over goods and items freely put at our disposal for life.  These things have never left the ownership of the creator just as we ourselves have never left His ownership, and yet we have claimed ownership both of ourselves and of that which is in our possession.  That act alone is a sin against a loving and protective God to His creation.  We claim ownership even though we know that God only has to return for what is rightfully His own...our very breath included; yet we stand stiff willed against God.  Everyday of our lives we find yet another gift given for our use in the sun rise and the blessings of life itself to use, and we are called to be stewards of those things, and to increase the value and strength of all that we have been placed in charge of.

All God asks of us in return is that we acknowledge Him for whom He is to us...Lord and creator.  We on the other hand have grown deceitful and untrustworthy in giving an account for that which we do not rightfully own, and the day will come when the Master will return.  Having sent before Him His only begotten Son to tell us of the Good news from the Father that He has made a new way for us to find a relationship again as Adam and Eve once did in the garden before sin entered into them.  This grace and forgiveness entered into our world through love and a desperate attempt to reclaim our love...yet we would not listen to the message.  We have tried to dissuade the message through buying it off through bribery and yet the message would not change. We have tried to ignore the message yet our minds could not let go of the truth that stood before us in the form of Jesus Christ God's Son.  Since we could not escape the message nor the truth that has eaten away at the sin of our hearts we chose to crucify the messenger; yet though we killed the body we could not kill the truth, and that truth rose again.  Today we stand at the gate of all that we have been placed in charge of and we wait to give an account for our deeds.  The only salvation we have is to kneel at the feet of the cross we made and give our own life to the one who has so richly loved us.  The enemy of God made a mistake in thinking that Jesus as a man was too weak to face death for those who ignored Him.  We know the outcome of this story even now.  Will you continue to serve self or will you acknowledge God as Lord?

The time is running out for you to make a wise choice...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
