PEOPLE ARE UNITED IN SIN AND DEATH
Greetings in Jesus:
In the book of Genesis 3: we are first found guilty of God's judgment of sin in our nature as mankind; which is death. All through the generations of human nature from that point on we are held under that same fate of death. This is a kind of unity that we have long sought to find an answer to, but alas we could do nothing on our own...we desperately needed God to step in.
When God did step in He had to give a part of Himself for the perfect sacrifice that was needed for such a great forgiveness. I am certain that God did not just decide instantly to provide that sacrifice for us because of the great personal cost to Him. That is a part of God's desire for us to all be in unity with Him. The kind of love that it takes to sacrifice even a part of your life force to rescue even someone whom you love so deeply, and that loves you in return is one thing; but to give your life for those who will never love or acknowledge you exists is something quite different. God is perfect in His unity, and He leaves no exception in His perfection.
God has told us that just as sin has enter into man through just one man, and because of that sin death; so also will forgiveness come back to us through one man...Jesus Christ. Romans 5: 12-20 has Paul speaking boldly about that love for us. God has already done everything in it's completeness for us to accept and live in Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us except for the actual acceptance and life lived in freedom from sin. 1 Corinthians 15:21 " for since death came through a man the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man...for as in Adam all die, so in Christ will be made alive".
God's Spirit continues to draw us ever closer toward the unity of our hearts with His for Jesus told us that He wanted us to be as unified with one another as He was in unity with the Father, and the Father with Him. I believe that is how God sees the Bride of Christ in the time that Jesus comes. All of those who have died and lived in Christ will be reunited as the Bride of Christ for all eternity. That is hard to wrap our minds around my friends, but I do want for you to understand it will only be those who live or whom have lived in Christ that will be a part of the Bride of Christ that God returns for. While we are given the chance to find God within our hearts we will not be a part of the Bride that He comes for unless we have given ourselves completely to Him. I do not think we understand how much God has loved...how completely and how perfectly He has love us. That is the reason that we cannot seem to understand the need we have for unity within the body of Christ or the church of today, and because of that misconception there may be many people who will disappointed in that day. We need to get it right! we need to understand what God means when He asks us to become as one in mind, heart and spirit. It is then that we will begin to see His power shake the earth around us again...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
