A SELF OBSERVATION
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
In doing this ministry there have been many times when I have thought about dropping the efforts to bring you a daily blog because of the lack of response I get. When the readership drops and the silence gets almost defining to what God tells me to write I sometimes struggle, and yet I have a peace within my heart about the dedication I have given the last 20+ years of work I have done on these blogs.
I know that as time progresses people will begin to fall away from the truth because they will be looking for something that verifies what ever sin they have in their life to not really be a broken law, but more of a misdo miner... or something not as serious as they see others doing in the world around them. God's truth has always been dear to me even though I too have failed God many times in my life He has asked that I take what I have learned from those difficult years to share with you who hunger and thirst for truth. Some of these insights through the Spirit of God are difficult to hear, while others are soothing to the soul.
Over the last several years I have tried to teach more than anything through the words that Christ Himself used to explain the Good News. It is that Good News from God, or what is also known as the New Covenant in Christ that seems to cause the most problems with those who are steeped in tradition. The reason for that is that the New Covenant requires us to change and to grow on a constant level, and there are very few people who have really clung to that in life. It becomes increasingly more of a blind faith walk than most people want to deal with. I have found that in order for me to not be overcome by this world I have had to grow into a comfort zone of walking in that blind faith walk with God leading every step of my life before I could feel any growth or progress in my life in Christ. I believe that much of what we consider to be hardships is merely God trying to take control over our Christian experience. Our attitude toward a teachable heart is not real good most of the time because of our desire to control.
I can't help but wonder what might change in the church communities if we could accept God's desire for us to walk with Him in complete leadership of our lives? I have a strong feeling that we would see greater power Spiritually, and a much easier ability to let go of this world and cling to the promises that God has made to us if we could learn to enjoy not being in control and trying to lead God to where we think He should go. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
