A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Every time I turn around there is something new going on in this world that feels like the enemy is winning some how. I want for you to know that there is nothing that can take us out of God's hand, and that promise that has been made to us extends through God's love for us.
God's relationship with is is different than anything we may have ever experienced before because it cannot be shaken by this world. God cannot be lied to about who we are because He already knows who we are and where our heart is with regard to our relationship with Him. This relationship is built upon a love that He started with us, and not one that was sold to Him in some form of con from this world. His love is real and pure, and proven. God looks for that same kind of love in return because it is the most pure of all of the kinds of love that can be had...it is a perfect love. The only ways that this love can be proven is through living it out in our lives everyday. It is in that way that we find out what is true from what is simply infatuation. There are a lot of people who are infatuated with God until something happens to make them see that what they say they love is not what they thought it was...then they easily fall out of love in the same way the fell into love. The problem is always that the love or the thing we were infatuated with was never real to begin with, but God's love will never fail us because it came from a perfect source.
God likes very much for us to test His love to us because He knows that we will find it to be the real thing. I think it is kind of funny when I hear about these people who set out to disprove God's word and His love...there have been so many who dug into the research of the word to find it changed them into believers. It happened to Paul as well the more he tested God's word and love the more he was persuaded that God was indeed able to keep His word.
This is the kind of testing that leads to wisdom in our lives as the word tells us. The scripture starts out in Proverbs speaking about the importance of wisdom for us in that we should cling to it with our whole heart. The wisdom comes from God's perfect love for us as well. It also comes from our own obedience to that word and that love. As we continue to build our relationship with God another thing happens as well, and that is through us God's Holy Spiri begins to produce Spiritual fruit. The love, life, wisdom and spiritual fruit leaves a tremendous impression on the world around us. We automatically start to lift Christ higher so that this world can be drawn to Him, and then we can minister to them. Let your love and relationship with Christ shine today. May you richly bless Godf through your life in Him.
