HUMAN UNITY part two
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
The ways that we think within our mind about the information we receive changes the way we respond to the world around us." is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but it is what that comes from a man that defiles him" these are words from Jesus Christ our Lord that simply tells us that we are the ones who are in control of whether or not we produce good or evil in this life.
In order to produce good through our experiences in life I have found that we need to have a clear conscience before both God and man...Acts 24:16. Once again we find in Romans 2:15 Paul deals with people who know the laws of God have their conscience bear witness to the truth of that law, and it makes their very own thoughts accuse them, and because of that fact they try to defend themselves in their mind...but that will never work because they will never be able to escape their own mind and heart.
Paul confirmed that his conscience was completely clear about what he had said about Jesus Christ because as he tells them " The Holy Spirit has confirmed it within me." Romans 9:1. Not everyone has understood this however, because many are still clinging to various idols in this world. Not everyone who claims Jesus Christ as their Lord has a clear conscience about what they claim, and in many cases thaqt will become a stumbling block for weaker people. The reason that is true is that anyone who may have a weak conscience who sees you holding on to these idols instead of to God will think that must be the way of life in Christ as well...and then follow your example. It becomes a rather simple thing to follow someone else who makes a claim that they know the way to God , and yet if that person does not really know the way not only will that person perish, but you will perish with them.
God has also given us a will to seek the truth on our own, and we are required to use that will to find the truth. Ultimately it will be the decisions we make as to what we want to do about all that we both hear and see that will make that final decision in our hearts. The problem for a great many people today is that they have never real found out what it iis they actually believe about God, salvation, or the Lordship of Jesus Christ within their lives. That is extremely distressing to me. 1 Corinthians 7:37 tells us that the man who has settled a matter in his own mind; who no compulsion, but has control over his own will can always make a right choice...but few of us have really thought these things out for ourselves in that kind of depth...don't you think it is time that we did? May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
