your soul ( the silent majority)

Greetings in Jesus:

Just as in this physical world the great silent majority of people is not who is in charge of what is going on in this country.  It is the same way with us as individuals as well because we have been created to walk and talk with God in a fellowship that is more dear and more precious than anything that we could ever imagine yet we do everything we can to keep that hidden from the world around us.

The question has to be asked " if we want peace in our minds and hearts why don't we reach out to God for it in the open daylight"?  Why do we hide the person that God created good within like it is a decease?  I cannot believe that the greatness of what has made us who we are is gone.  I cannot believe or accept that who we have been created to be is some how dead within us.

The roar of the world around us is all that is heard because it is all we are listening for. There is so much more to life than greed and lies...there is the absolute truth that convicts the hearts of good men and women to do something about bringing out a positive outcome in life.  It is the same things that Peter and John said to the Sanhedrin " we cannot help but speak forth that which we have both seen and heard".  There is a part of you my dear ones which lays quietly within you that needs to be voiced in this age.  It may have been trying to break free within you for a long time now...it may have felt as though you were frustrated beyond measure at times because it it good fighting against evil in life and you can feel it.

I would like to think of that as being God's Spirit welling up inside of you and urging you to take a stand, but for some of you it may be a deep cavity that longs to be filled with God for the first time.  There are a lot of us in churches today who calls themselves "Christian" but who does not have Him residing within our hearts.  You don't know how troubled I am in having to say that...but there are so many within our churches that do not know what it really is to experience Jesus abiding within their heart, and the problem is that it is not their fault, but the churches fault.  We have not taught how to grow in Christ effectively, and it has caused a lot of trouble within the body.

My heart tells me that it is not too late for these people to be reclaimed for Christ, but they do have to wake up to what it really means to live for God.  The starting place is never good enough, and the person you are right now will never poised and ready to gracefully receive Christ without showing their sinful side.  We cannot say to God please forgive me of the sins that I refuse to admit to...confession is laying it all out on the line, and begging for mercy out of a true belief in Jesus Christ.  Anyone who is truly honest with themselves has found that hard to do.  One of the greatest lies told to men is that "we are the Captains of our own ship".  Like so much of the rest of the wisdom from men, it sounds good to us at first because it gives a small idea of control...but we have no control; we only have choice and a free will to give back to God out of trust in Him.

Jesus asked the question " Will there be any faith when I return"?  Will there be anyone who is really true to Me when I come back...anyone without some kind of personal agenda for being in Church apart from worshiping Me?  Will there be anyone left who is there because they simply love God?  We have been created with that silent majority intacted within us. The question is will we look long enough to find the treasure that is hidden within? May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
