HOW GOD SPEAKS THROUGH OTHER PEOPLE AND THINGS
Greetings through the wonderful name of Jesus:
When God begins to work through us to those around us the communication level changes and things get so deep that it is hard to explain things in words. We do not realize mostly how deep God's Spirit runs through us until we begin to open up to who we were created to be. Every time that we experience something in this life it becomes a part of what God uses to communicate with us. If our minds and our hearts are open to receive any communication from God He will begin to use all of His creation to speak to us; even to the point of giving us answers for our day.
I have heard others say that God never speaks to them, but that is only because they are not open to listening to His voice. There have been so many times that I have heard God's voice speak very clearly to me as I looked upon the beauty of the world around me. It does not matter if it is a beautiful body of water or a clear sky; a mountain view or a single tree God's voice can be heard. In the very same way the things that are all around us in a day can be used by God to speak clearly to us. A stop sign or a traffic light that suddenly turns can warn us or even stop us in our tracks from being involved in a dangerous situation. The smiles or contact that we have with others along the streets we may walk can be a wake up call to a sign or signal from God for something we need to do or say.
There is no mistakes made by God in His effort to speak to us and to guide our day, but the secret is to learn how to listen to His voice. Our very lives are filled with different messages from God to us if we are willing to open our hearts and listen. We must train our eyes and ears to hear things and see things spiritually much in the same way we learn other survival skills. Someone who has not been taught or had any kind of experience in tracking or understanding the wildlife or being outside would never be able to read some very obvious signs around them of possible danger or mistakes being made. Tracking game for survival is an art in itself that not everyone can do. It is the same as listening to the spiritual communication around us for we must be tuned into God and His Spirit at work within us to hear His voice.
I am amazed at how easily we become unaware of spiritual things that are around us or the fact that our creator knows us so much better than we even know ourselves. God is not fooled by the lies that we fall for ....even those that we tell ourselves about our importance or value. I too have gone through the period of wondering how something would ever get done without me being there, but I have found out that in a very short time frame we can always be replaced in almost any capacity of life without even skipping a beat. It is a very humbling feeling when that happens...when God reads our hearts intent He already knows what He is dealing with before we ever speak. What changes things is our willingness to be transformed by His love and Spirit and to be taught to listen and communicate properly with Him. It is always my personal prayer that you will find a way to allow God to communicate through you to those around you. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
