THE MASK OF HUMANITY

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:

Larger than life is a description we may often use when dealing with what we may think of as reality, and yet I doubt we even have a simple grasp of what reality is. Quite often our perception of

what is real is obscured by the condition we find ourselves in at the time. We may think that the world is falling down around us when it is of no concern to everyone else around us.  If we believe in God and have given ourselves the permission to experience  God in a real way we have no doubt questioned what God's purpose for our lives is in this reality.

It becomes impossible for us to be able to live in two completely different realities at the same time especially when they are almost complete polar opposites to one another.  The conflict is real and the answer is in making a choice which reality to live in.  For a great majority of us, the fear of allowing ourselves to be consumed by our faith in God is too much for us to actually ever test God's word and to complete the transformation of our mind and heart instead of being conformed to a world that we are told is the only reality.  We end up wearing a mask either of Christianity of this world with neither of them being the real person we are.  More importantly is the physical mask that we are all taking for granted as being the reality as we walk around in the bodies we have been given that encases the real treasure and the real life that God has created in His image.  If we miss this truth about the life that we are living the chances are pretty great that we could be missing the whole purpose of our being put here in the first place.  It is really all about God's tremendous effort to get to the truth about our hearts intent behind our relationship; or lack of relationship with Him.

While within our own minds we are living out the reality of our life here; God is all along approaching our life with a completely different set of rules.  While we go about trying to convince ourselves that God is somehow deeply concerned about us on a physical level the truth remains in His word to us that He is no respecter of a person   While for a long time I struggled with that thought I have come to realize that what He is saying is that He does not care so much about the container we are in , but His care is for the creation that gives the container life....in other words, the spirit that resides within the body.  While we may put a great deal of emphasis on our physical comfort and condition, God is only looking at our spiritual well being.  His main concern is to bring us to an understanding of the importance of the relationship that we spiritually have with our creator.  That is why He will not hesitate to do whatever it takes to draw us closer to Him which includes mess with us physically.  It is too easy for us to get distracted by this physical world and by the bodies that we occupy, and miss the most important purpose for our being here.  That becomes the real mask that we wear.  It also becomes the great deceit that the enemy uses during our time spent in this life.  It is why Jesus told us to not think more highly of ourselves than we should because, for the most part, all that we are experiencing here is in effect a mask that covers the real reason for this life.  Have you dealt with that real issue as yet?  At some point, we will be awakened to the reality of what this life has always been about. For some who may read these words this may sound like nonsense, and yet for those who have spiritual eyes and ears, this message will ring clear and true.  The time is running very short for us to get this message right; may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
