CREATED A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS

Greetings in the name of Jesus:



 What does it mean for us to be created just a little lower than the Angels?  I have wondered about this for a long time now in my life, and while I know that the basic concept of our creation is understood there are parts of the picture that are missing for me.  This has nothing to do with our relationship to God or the truth in His word concerning our salvation.  It does, however, have a lot to do with why we have been placed here on this Earth in the form that we have been as mankind.  I believe it has to do with our creation in the first place as spiritual beings.  I believe that God's experience with Lucifer and his rebellion against the authority of God caused Him to rethink His original plan of having created us as a family.  I believe we were actually and originally created to be above the angels as we were created in God's Holy image.  The problem, of course, was when God found this flaw in Lucifer He also realized that the same tendency had been already placed in us to rebel in much the same way, and with even greater consequences.  His most precious creation was now questionable.  Suddenly everything becomes a matter of trust, and in God's perfection, there is only one way to find the truth individually with us.  That is to create a way to test the truth in what we say.  The first step to that is to put us in a situation where we can neither be a threat to His Kingdom or where we can hurt ourselves.  The answer was to place our spirits in a created container and in a place where He could find the truth.  The word tells us that before the creation of what we know as the world the Spirit of God was hovering over the deep.  I believe that to be the prison that had been already created for the fallen angels.  When we were created as mankind we were placed within this incased body and limited in power; therefore we were as mankind created a little lower than the angels, but still in a greater potential position to be adopted again into the Kingdom as His very own children.  In my mind, there isn't any wonder that those angels who were cast out because of the Kingdom because of their transgression would want to destroy us at that stage.

The more I see of the human condition the more I realize the tremendous opportunity we are being given just because of God's great love for us  I wonder what it will be like to be promoted once again to the position I once held before I was placed here and within this body?

  Those angels who remain loyal to God marvel at us as we are put through the tremendous scrutiny of this life.  It is a marvelous realization for me to understand the position I hold in God's heart, and why it is so very important that I do well in my obedience and decision making in His will for me.  We all stand to inherit more than we can imagine.  At the same time, God has made provisions for those who chose who are persuaded to choose this world's influence.  He has made sure that it will be just as easy to leave those parts of mankind at the very gates to the prison built for Satan and his angels. " Misery loves company " and we will find the answers have always been there to disobedience and self-destruction.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
