The church: our calling/not by our own perfection of will
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I continue to share in some of the spiritual writings that God had given me when he called me into my personal ministry. Some of these writings began to get very personal, and I had to do a lot of soul searching as I tried to understand these.
"The Lord our God has given to us the gift of life. We are called by this gift to give an account for our beliefs in Christ. We cannot missuse this calling for our own glory. The father has set aside our lives to be used as vessels for his spirit to be poured out on this land in the later days. We are living in these days right now. The father has given his loving spirit to you that you might know his power by the giving of your will to him. It is your own choices that allowed God in his spirit to work in you in this age. Can you afford to not accept this blessing from God? We are called to be the light of the world yet if we put this light under a basket it cannot shine for all to see it. For some to feel the Lord is real they must give a sacrifice of themselves to him.
God does not require that you give a sacrifice of self, but he asks if you will accept. What he does require is that we are willing to give ourselves to his will to be used as he sees fit for us. The time is growing short for us here, and the Holy Spirit's work will be swift and sure in these days. The father asks only if we are willing to love him as he has loved us? Are you willing to give yourselves out of blog for God to be used in whatever way he commands? If you are then you will be used of the Holy Spirit in these days. If you choose not to you will miss the power and the glory of God's promise to his people for these last days. It is not our place to dictate the use of his spirit in our lives; it is his calling that dictates that use. Each day of our lives is a new fresh calling and a new fresh work in his spirit. If we tried to control that work we fail to allow God to work through us, and if we draw attention to ourselves by the power of his work in us then we have no glory in heaven. Let us therefore be made from our love for the father willing to become his vessels this day. Let us by prayer and thanksgiving each day draw closer to his purpose in this. Let his power flow in our lives by his strength and might of low and may we ever be mindful of our life in Christ, and of his life in us. It is by this calling we are healed and made a hole again in Christ."
I have been very stubborn in my life, and I have found more than once just how dark some of the places in my heart have been even though I would never admit it. Some of these messages God's Spirit began a series of very probing for me that has allowed me to see myself more clearly.
"What is it we can say then? Is it by the power of our will to do right that we are given over to be children of God alone? In part perhaps but not all, for we have no power over will, which can exceed the trappings of Satan's deceit here below. It is rather through the knowledge of abiding love for God and his ways that we are called successful to inherit the kingdom of Christ in this age. It is our own will to love him that starts the process of salvation but the working of his spirit with in us is an ongoing thing throughout our lives which cannot be destroyed by the sin we commit. Praise God that his love is not condition upon our behavior. His love has no boundaries and his grace is all sufficient for our needs. It is by our amazing love bond with the father that all things which would by nature hold us away from him have been cast aside and all things are becoming new in his covenant of grace toward us. It is our need for his love that bridges the gap for our lives. The need we have to be a part of his family and of his acceptance, which calls us out of this world, not by our ability but by his perfection. We buy ourselves can and will do nothing toward our salvation, because it is a free gift of love brought about by a relationship built between the father and us.
While it still remains on commission in faith to see perfection in the spirit because of our love for the father, we must also realize the impossibility of our reaching perfection as human beings. Our desired to control the outcome of our fate has long been our downfall in realizing the ability to transcend bonds that this plain of existence causes between the father and us. We must give up the need for control in our lives no matter how small it is before we can accept the freedom of God's gift to us. We are not worthy, and we can never be worthy of such a gift, as he has given us. We desire but we strive for that which is not necessary to obtain. We long for a relationship with the father only to find ourselves in the way of accepting it. Can we get past the confusion, which made the preaching of Christ foolishness to the Gentiles and a stumbling block to the Jews? Only we by our own will can answer that question, for only by our will can we hope to be willing to accept what we cannot control. "May you richly bless God through your life in him.
