TAKING THE TIME TO FIX OUR LIVES

Greetings in the name of Jesus"

In today's world we hastily fly through life to try to adhere to this schedule that this world is making for us. We are pressured into having less time to consider the important things of our lives. The most important of all of these is our relationship with God our father; our conversations with him, our attention to his desires for our lives during a day's activities, and simply being present with him in the moments we spend with him are all key to correcting the problems in our personal faith. I think most of all these things affect our openness to accept what God may ask of us. We don't think about those things in this life that does not affect us personally or immediately, and yet if we do not prepare our lives and our relationship with the father properly we could find ourselves lacking in what God has set us to do within the kingdom of God.

I personally do not want to be the branch that did not bear any fruit for God while I was grafted to the living vine. In the same way that we try to prepare physically to meet our needs in this life, and to live without worry we need to also take the time to develop our own the life and the love for and with God. We need to set aside time for him each day; not necessarily a scheduled time frame but at least by taking a few minutes to be with God each day when ever and how ever it avails itself to us. By doing that our day will always run more smoothly and our life will be much more fulfilling. I have a question for you... Have you spoken to the father today? Did you remember God enough in your life to wish him a happy Father's Day? You may think that these questions do not have any value, and yet each of these points toward an attitude that many of us have begun to develop about God's family.

I have said many times that the truth remains the truth no matter if we believe it or accept it as the truth or not. All were prepared us as a child of God for the age that is right up on us today is so important. Like the thief in the night God has said he will come again to judge the living and the dead. We cannot know the power of God's hand. We cannot understand the mass and the speed of the stars, comets, and moon's, and we cannot tell when a particle of dust from anyone may come to destroy this frangible world we call Earth. We are so limited in our devices to predict what will be that we fail to look be on the the obvious message that God the father has given to us throughout the ages. To have no other gods before him in our lives. If an angel or Christ himself should return again we would not know him. We would still not leave in God as a world. The father knows this. We spend all of our time in worrying about the small sins we commit, yet forget the most important thing of all, which is our relationship to the father. Do you not see that for us it is impossible to become worthy of God's love?

We cannot earn it for it is a free gift and so simple to receive. Even now God speaks to those who will listen. Even now he is able and willing to save and forgive all of the pettiness we have built up between us. He is a jealous God when it comes to our love for him, and he is not willing to share that love and adoration with anyone or anything else in our lives. The worship of God is not love. Attendance in a church body of believers is not love. Striving to accomplish the most admirable tasks in the name of Jesus is not love. What then is love to God the father? Putting him first because we love him, allowing him to love and comfort us in times of trouble, and giving ourselves up to his will for his use as he sees fit in our lives. This does not mean becoming a missionary to a far off land, but perhaps it does mean allowing God to love someone across the street through you. We are called to his purpose in this age that all men may come to know him through our lives. It is not we but God is tested in these days that he would be faithful to his word in us. God has told us that if we should leave we shall come to know him and he will come to know us in such a way as to allow him to adopt us into his family and into his kingdom. It is by his word we are healed from the inside out. It is by his love we are given the gift of all gifts. It is by our own will that the process can begin. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
