Hearing and seeing with the spirit

Greetings in the name of Jesus

Here is another writing that God gave me for the church in a midnight hour some 25 years ago.

God has said he would pour out an abundance of his spirit in the latter days that we should know his calling and repent from the paths you have chosen. This calling is not an echo to the world around us, but a word given unto us. We who consider ourselves the body of Christ are the very ones God speaks to. We are blinded by the words and the manner of others who would do are praying, and reading, and learning for us. We are not called to be cast too and fro by every whim of man-made doctrine. We are called to be able to give accountability to others of what we believe and why we believe it.

God only asks us to be genuine in our search for him. We cannot know what his mind is unless we are first able to read his directions for life for ourselves. The power of the Holy Spirit will give us the grace to understand what it is we need to know as we read and reason together the Scriptures as they did in the beginning. Let us come in reason together again! We are looking but we do not see, and we hear but we do not listen. How can we hope to understand when we have given our spiritual duties over to someone else because we think in terms of them as being the ministers, and we as not being able to understand. Don't you know there will be many who will say on that day "Lord didn't we pray? Lord didn't we heal in your name?" God the father will have to say to many who attended church every Sunday, "depart from me for I never knew you"why is that? Because we had years, would not hear, we had eyes but would not see.

Our spiritual life and growth is not based on someone else's prayers written for us to memorize and recite. When we have finished we merely have recited what another person is written, we have not spoken to God. We hear but we do not listen. When we listen to a good message from a speaker we may admire for his or her ability do we go ourselves to verify if it is true or do we take for granted that they always speak the truth therefore it must be right? How many of us have just allowed someone else to do all of our study for us and then take for granted what that person's perception of those words are, and are indeed true? Dooku still feel that you see and listen clearly enough to what God is saying to you? If so then praise God! If not then it is time for a change in your life listen to what God's spirit tells you in these latter days before it is too late for God to know who you are. If we are to get acquainted with someone we must get to know him or her. Listen to their words, see their actions in our lives and then judge for ourselves what is true. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
