The many faces of love/ Perfected Love

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

Four months now we have been studying the center points of our Christian lives, and we have found that in the deepest parts of our relationship to God or with each other is the desperate need to love and be loved. The power of God's Spirit has called me to realize that love has indeed been the center of everything that God has done in his creation of the universe. It was out of the need to love that he wanted to create a companion for himself, and so he brought forth the Angels. I believe that when Lucifer chose to try and take for himself all that God had possessed it was love that kept God from destroying Lucifer and instead cast him out of heaven and into the void that was the yours. It was also love that caused the God to create this world that we know and then place mankind here to govern over it. God was forced to make a decision out of love to destroy Satan once he had turned completely from God and there was no possibility of contrition. It is out of love for us that God made a way for us to come back into God's grace of sinlessness by accepting Christ out of love for the gift of life eternal that he granted to those who would accept Christ. Love has had many faces since the beginning of time and yet there is a need for us to know more about the one thing that has silently ruled over us since our conception by the father.

Jesus often used things around him to explain the concepts of God's love to man, and so I would like to use an example here about love. Love is like water, it has several states that it manifests itself in. Water can be seen as solid, liquid, and the gas. I would like to look at law in three ways as well 1. Perfected 2. Unfeeling and  1 Timothy  1:5 "3. Implanted.

PERFECTED love that is perfect has always been attributed only to God and yet God has asked us to put perfect love into our lives and to use it when we deal with one another because perfect love bears fruit that cannot be seen in any other way in life. This perfect love is displayed by the desired to do what ever God tells us to do without questioning had 1 John 2:5 "but if anyone obeys his words God's love is truly made complete in him this is how we know we are in him". Perfect love binds us together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3: 12-14 "therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, close yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity". The perfection of love has a forgiving power to it that can be found nowhere else. 1 Peter 4:8-11" a bum ball, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever amen." This is a perfected love that is put into practice and cultivated toward our fellow man that enables peace within our own hearts. Paul writes that there is a grease given to those who love God with an undying love Ephesians 6:24" grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love". We can only have grace by realizing love in our lives and then making a concentrated effort to share that when we can realize it in any given situation 2 Thessalonians 3:5. Perfect love has a spiritual basis. 1 Timothy 1:5 "the goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and is a good conscience and the sincere faith." I want to continue on with these thoughts in the next blog. We will pick up with unfailing love at that time. May you richly bless God that through your life in him.
