Creating children from raw materials
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
All of us have many different types of materials that lay around us in life with which we can build a kind of façade of who we are to show the world. When this writing came it started a thought process within me about what I was using to build my life with.
"We struggle with the lessons that God gives us to learn from day to day without realizing their purpose for us. We fight so hard against God who is trying to make from the materials of our lives a masterpiece that is so complete that it will give forth its beauty for all eternity. Like the canvas on master painters easel we are slowly formed by shape and color, line and depth until we start to see reason and understanding in his work through us. It isn't easy to use raw materials to make something beautiful and lasting. It takes a lifetime for us to become anywhere close to a finished product. Sometimes we struggle with even the first stages of all of our lives that God is patient and faithful in his pursuit of who we are to be. I don't believe God makes throw away people. I don't believe he would make an eternal soul and then not take the time needed to teach that soul how to live.
In order to have the knowledge that we need to understand good and evil we must have the experience of what good and evil is in our lives. Life is not made up of only one of these things and eternal life is much more so than this life. How can we understand the full spectrum of what God teaches us in one lifetime? The lessons we are given here are given as experiences so that we can grasp the concepts of them and if we are able to understand all things as he understands all things how else can we be taught? His ways it is said are so much higher than our ways, his concepts so much broader than ours. Which is better learned? To question how and receive an answer or to experience the answer firsthand? There in lies the answer to the questions and the secrets of our eternal life. God does not waste what he is created eternal, but when we know and understand, it is then time to decide who it is we shall love and follow. Believe me there will be no soul created that does not have the chance to make that decision. There will be no soul created who will not be asked that question. There will be no soul who will not have to give an answer to that question."
Many of these writings have spurred me on to study some of the areas that I may have left untouched in my life. Perhaps some of the questions that come up in these writings will help you to do the same. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
