The gift of will

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

Over the last 25 years of my life God has been giving me messages that should be passed on to the church in an attempt to awaken the bride of Christ. When these first started coming to me I spent many hours writing these things out in longhand over a period of about three years. I think it is time for me to begin to share some of these writings and thoughts with you. Over the next several blogs and weeks to come I will be sharing these messages. This one is entitled"the gift of will in the church".

God the father has given us the gift of free will to use and do with as we please. We seldom believe that our own will is a gift from God yet he has created us to be unique among his creation. It is also the gift which holds the key to our true words to the fathers work here. By that very gift will we have been given we have created such a jumbled mess of inter-weaving concepts, half-truths, and beliefs that we no longer have a true view of the God we are supposed to be serving.

We have by our own free will created a blog and mire of rules and regulations that have effectively trapped us, and for the most of us it has caused a complete ineffectiveness in the Holy Spirit. The divisions of belief absent father against son, and family against family. The biggest restriction to the spirit of all has been our desire to have anything to do at all with the spiritual work for us. We listen to someone who has a good idea and has a beginning place for growth in our spiritual lives, and say"that is truth, therefore I will follow him"but as soon as you have found truth you give it away again. Unless we are willing to follow truth ourselves by reading and praying and feeling our own soul through the power of the Holy Spirit we will not grow, or. If we do not get the nourishment of his word and life into us we soon will grow weak and die just like any newborn who does not receive the proper food and drink.

We do not seem to realize parallel that is drawn between our spiritual birds in Christ and our physical birth in this world. Without the care of a loving parent we could not have lived to become adults. It is also true that if we are born of the spirit and do not gain nourishment we to will die. If we had someone else eat for us and drink for us we would not have the benefit of the food and therefore die am starvation if we allow another to do all of our reading and praying and understanding for us will we not suffer the same fate? God requires in these days that we all give accountability of what we believe and why we believe it. Can you do that this day? Where have we gone with our will? The greatest gift ever known to God's creation lays dormant unless it is properly exercised. It is by this act of free will to see God that we grow and become true disciples of Christ. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
