The intent of heart/the work of the spirit within
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I'm starting out this week with another series of messages that God's Spirit has given to me. Both of these deal with the church; in fact most of these messages deal in some way with the church, or the internal workings of the church.
"Just as we know ourselves, God also knows us. He understands our intent and our truthfulness with him as quickly as we understand that ourselves. We can play no games with God in the way we play games with others around us by showing bits and pieces of who we are to others in order to gain acceptance or trust from them. The father sees our hearts intend when we involve our lives with is, in fact the father sees the truth in us and in our intent of heart in everything we do and although we may fail in what we have attempted to do that is good he understands our hearts. Our hearts are always the key to our relationship with the father because where our heart is there our soul will be also. If we truly love the wicked things of this world can we hope to have a relationship with our heavenly father? Not when he can see us for who or what we really are. While God's law can and will transcend all things, God requires truth from us about who we are. God does not love us for who we are now in our lives but who it is he knows we can be. It has been said that we as humans never show all of who we really are to others. Each person we meet knows only the facet of us that we allow them to see. We have become so good at hiding that many times we fool ourselves into thinking we are someone completely different than we are meant to be. It can be refreshing to not have to play these games with God. If we insist on continuing to try to hide we are it can be a real hindrance to our relationship with him. The choice is ours to make. Where our heart is will be where God finds us, if we are to be like the rich man who went away sad because God asked him to give away all he had and come with him, we too will lose. If we can love and trust the father as a father to us we can have all things through our relationship with him. Where is your heart today? Where will the father find you when you next talk to him?"
It is thoughts like this that God has given to me that has helped me to change the person I was and to allow God's Holy Spirit to begin to transform me into a new creature.
"It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that I am called into the labor I do in Christ, and it is also by that same spirit that I tell you the time is short for all we have known, do not caught asleep. Let are coming and going be in the spirit that Paul wrote about in Philippians 4, and we should never forget to first base our every move meant on the power of the Holy Spirit with in our lives. He has set the standards by which we should be walking each day it is he(the spirit of God) that dictates our opportunities to serve the father. We are merely vessels in which his power can flow if we are willing to allow God's Spirit to work within us. As we rise in the morning let us give him praise and thanks for the day ahead and that we have a chance to do as well. When we lay down at night let us give thanks and praise for all he has done in our lives, and ask him for the strength more to subject all will to him tomorrow. Each breath of our lives is a gift unto itself. Do not let your heart be troubled for God has control over the lives of every one and everything we allow him to govern. It is by his power that we see, speak, and the here. It is by his blood we are say and have the right to become his children. It is by his will we are changed from what we are into what we can be. It is because of his we are willing to do so. In the him then do we have are being. In the him is our salvation, and our purpose. Praise God for all he has done."
I believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in each life who allows him the control of that life. Each of us in our own way continues to write Scripture in our lives that is directly influenced through the power of God's Holy Spirit. We simply have two allow him to continue to do so... May you richly bless God through your life in him.
