Spiritual gifts/the church

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

I find that many people still have problems with spiritual gifts within the church, there are so many different directions that church doctrines have gone in when it comes to spiritual gifts that even from the beginning the apostles had to constantly redirect people in the church concerning their use.
"God has given us the spiritual gifts that we have outlined for us by Paul in Corinthians, but do we understand their use today? All are given gifts of the spirit, but not all of those gifts are the same. Some are for exhortation or the simple lifting up of another and encouraging them in their spiritual life. Others are the prophets and the proclaimers of truth. Some preach the gospel and expound on God's word, while others just love in Jesus name. We tend to get hung up in these gifts of the spirit that have outward signs or strange results of power like tongues or healing to think they are the ultimate of the gifts. We don't understand all of these gifts are just by products from a life given over to God completely. No one of these gives are more important than the others except they each one have to be filled with the love of God. These messages are written today because we have forgotten the most powerful and most enduring of all of God's gifts to us is that of love.

Without this gift none of the others have any bearing in our lives. Without the complete love we have for the father we would have no use for the other gifts. Perhaps when we look at the gifts of the Holy Spirit we might see first and judging them if the man's motives for the gift that he's using his love, or if it is drawing attention to himself? The gifts of God's Spirit will be poured out on his people in these last days like it no other time, and I am sure that we will see many manifestations of them. What we need to do is also judge the quality of what we are exposed to. If all things are based on the one thing that will not pass away then it is pure in the spirit. The Scripture tells us to judge not, lest we be judged by the same terms. I think that's the only way we can judge these spiritual gifts. We must have been dedicated to the love of God before we can ever hope to know the truth about God's gifts to us."

One of the greatest gifts that God has given to the church is faith. This next short writing deals with the thought about faith:
"I rejoice in the gift given unto those born of God's Spirit who can understand the grace and the power that has been given through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. This gift given freely to us is that of becoming an error to the very throne of God the father. It is by his power to give unto us the privilege of adoption into his family that we can boldly make clean of kinship through the power of his Holy Spirit. When we accept the free gift of this inheritance we are called to act as family members toward our responsibilities in the spirit of God. We are not grafted into the vineyard to draw from the power of God at our convenience but to bear fruit for the master and produce growth in to the family. We have been gifted to do these things through our spiritual gifts and we also activate gifts of our own will to obey the Word of God in our lives. As adopted members of God's holy family we are given the task of becoming his tools of service to mankind to be used when and how he dictates in our world. If we are given this choice and do not choose to obey his will, it is his right to either prune us from the vine or send us outside his grace of adoption just as it was for him to extend the offer to us in the first place. We are among all mankind most blessed for having the opportunity of this choice. It is by our will to choose we can take advantage of God's grace to us. Let us know the truth of God's message when we hear them! The time is short for us to remain unsure of our calling and him. We are of all men most blessed but we can curse our own limes by just not making clear-cut decisions to give ourselves to the will of the Holy Spirit in this time. It's my prayer that we will be listening to him."

It is also my prayer that we will take seriously these messages from God's Spirit to our lives. May you richly blessed God through your life in him.
