FORCE- FEEDING CHRISTIANS
All glory and power belong to the name of our Lord Jesus, for in Him and through Him we gain the strength and the power to continue to serve and love one another. It is in the name of Christ that I come to you this day in a word from God's Spirit to share the nature of our faith in Christ Jesus.
I continue to be given spiritual strength through the brothers and sisters around me who support my ministry through much prayer and love. It is in this very love that we discuss the topics that are covered in these short communications every day, and it is so important that we do so because we need to keep God's intent of heart before us at all times. Today we are in a tremendous battle of will between the grace that is shown daily to us by God's Spirit within us, and the evil that exists in this world and in the lawless intent of heart from those who wage war against the solvent God of our creation.
We know without a doubt of His strength and power to wipe away all that wages war and hate, and we know that when the time comes for judgment that He will stand as no respecter of persons. There will be no deals struck or backroom negotiations made for the privilege of dwelling in His presence for all eternity apart from our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and our complete submission to His word in our lives. Today we are involved in the force-feeding of Christians in much knowledge about God and about the things of God without ever. Those are the words and then introducing them to the experience of having a one-on-one relationship with Him. I can go to any church in my area and find someone who can effectively find a scripture that supports their doctrine or creed in church denomination, but very few who can give me a convincing testimony of a person we need to be going directly to the words of Christ that are written to the church experience they have had with God over the last month.
These personal experiences that we should be able to share with others on a regular basis are things that we must seek out for ourselves in this life so that we might edify the body of Christ to know that without any doubt He is still active within those who ask, knock, and seek Him one a daily; and sometimes moment to moment basis in life. Instead of reading and adapting to a message that someone has written about Christ we must go directly to the words that Christ has written to us. We can go to written material today that is spirit filled and led to edify us and build us up but we need to allow His Spirit to transform our lives through a direct contact with His word and teachings.
This week I want to discuss some of the ways that we can effectively allow God's word to feed us in a proper way. Some of these techniques you may be familiar with while others may be new. Join me for the next few blogs on the Christian Diet. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
