THE CHURCH THROUGH GOD'S EYES part 2
Greetings in Jesus name:
Finding ourselves with problems in communication between churches today is not God's problem but it is ours as followers. We are to become one with each other as much as we are one with God in a singularity of purpose and heart in the Spirit of God. It isn't hard to look around and to see that is not taking place within the confines of the church community. It is a problem that we need to be concerned about and that we need to try to fix. We frankly start by making people aware of the fact that God will not accept those within His Kingdom that would rather be right than happy.
I believe that God will first start performing a weeding out process of those who are causing problems within the church. I believe that He will begin moving people around to various places in the church community in an effort to find a better fit for people to grow in. Then He will begin to weed out those who have been looking for a hand-out rather than to give back to a church body. I believe we will begin to see many people who are uncomfo4table with being put on the spot for sharing testimonies or a story of faith with others who will simply drop away out of fear of too much being required of them, but I also believe that those who have been seeking God from the start will grow in a great way to begin to solidify the purpose of one mind-one heart in Christ and in that way prepare themselves for the coming of Christ.
I don't think that we have been teaching the need to be one with God and therefore one with each other enough. This is a process that really will only happen under great persecution and need to depend on one another, and before that can happen we need to be relieved of the stuff that is getting in the way of our concentration on God. Too many of us have one foot in the world while we are trying hard to put the other foot into Heaven, and it will not work. The riches of this world are not a part of the Kingdom of God because His Kingdom is not of this world...a majority of Christian people are missing that fact. God sees us as His children in the sense that we should have to depend upon Him on a daily, and sometimes moment to moment basis to get through this life just as Jesus did. I don't think that God looks upon that as a weakness, but as a requirement in our relationship with Him.
It seems like we are missing some of the foundational teachings that Christ as given us through His daily examples of what it is to live in a relationship with the Father, and I can't help but wonder when and how we are planning on getting ready for the coming of Christ when we have so much to learn about the simple truth of what it means to love. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
