FINDING THE FOUNDATIONS

Greeting in the name of Jesus:

We already know the foundations of our Faith is in the life and the teachings o Jesus Christ. The very first principals in that faith is that Jesus is the Son of the living God, who was conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit and born as a man for one single purpose; which is to be our living sacrifice for sin caused by Adam and Eve.

The very next purpose was to deliver a message to all who would listen that God the Father was establishing a new covenant with us through this perfect sacrifice that would fulfill the law that was established to convict men's hearts of sin.  In this new covenant the obedience to these laws would grow even more strict in that they no longer have physical requirements or tasks like the ritual sacrifices and laws given to Moses for the people to roll back sins, but now we could have a one time sacrifice through our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Sin would no longer be dealt with in an act , but rather through the intent of our heart.  No man could  find a way to step around the requirements for this forgiveness because God's Spirit would be in charge of reading this intent of heart whenever we approached God for forgiveness.  There would no longer be excuses made or mistakes in judgment that needed to be accounted for because God would already know the truth about our intent of heart and react to our requests accordingly.  With no place to hide and no personal hope of escape from our guilt we only had one alternative under this New Covenant which was to beg for forgiveness of sin.

Jesus has been sent as the new standard and example of what we should strive for in our relationship with the Father to become one with God and with one another through the acceptance of Christ as the head of our faith in God through the establishment of the Church and the realization that it is our love for God and one another that binds us together  as one body.  While we remain diverse in our thoughts and ways, and with many personal likes and dislikes of styles of worship and approaches to a close relationship to God we are united in one single concept: " To love God with our whole heart, mind and strength, and then to love one another as we love ourselves."  All of the other commandments are tied to these two new commands given in the teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  The Crucifixion of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin took the power of sin away for it could no longer separate us from God forever as it once did.  God made way for us to be shown mercy through our acceptance of Jesus as the Son of God; The Messiah, and it created an open door for us to go directly to the Father through prayer in His Spirit to ask for His forgiveness.  Jesus would Himself become our advocate in the presence of God, and the Holy Spirit would become a living breathing part of each believer, and would be that final promised comforter and teacher  to cause us to remember the words of Christ and allow us to be drawn ever closer to God.  None of these principals or foundations have a denominational tie to them because denominations are created by men not God.

As sons and daughters of God we have only one goal in the intent of our heart which is to love and accept the love that God has shown us.  Our obedience to the things that God has shown us through the example of Jesus Christ is the only doctrine we need to be concerned about.  In this way we have become neither Greek or Jew, but Children of God in the purest sense.

No matter what our station is in this life we are all called by the same Spirit and unto the same standards of obedience...will you accept  Jesus in this way?  We are the vessels through which is poured out God's blessings and message to this world.  It is by the intent of your heart that God reaches others around you, and it is your basic purpose in living after you accept Him as Lord.  There is so much more as we grow in our faith, but we cannot ever go too deep in our faith and belief in God's word.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
