THE CURE FOR CHRISTIANS

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

For a very long time now I have been ranting on about our personal relationships with Christ, and while all that I have said is perfectly true I am quickly beginning to realize that few of those within our church bodies ever understand fully  what that personal relationship is.

What I am speaking about has very little to do with weekly attendance in a local church service even though the desire to hang out with other Christians is a very good sign of God being at work within us. What I really want to get across to you in these blogs is the real change that is bound to come when we release all of the control over what God is trying to do in our lives and then simply live day to day to make ourselves available to the work that God wants to do through us, and in what ever way that He chooses to use us.  You see we have placed ourselves in the role of being someone who needs to have credit given for what we do in the name of Christ instead of placing ourselves in a position of being able to be used as tools by Christ for what ever the work there is to be done in life

I think it is very difficult for us to see through the eyes of God's Spirit when we are standing in the way of what He is trying to do.  If we do indeed want for things to change in any way within the churches  we attend the only way we can be effective is to  change our own attitudes and desires for recognition. in the work of ministry.  It is time once again to do as the first church did by doing all that we can do to be of the same mind and heart toward one another and then toward the common goals of witnessing to the power of God's Spirit at work among us.

I have been made keenly aware that we are being led by people who do not even consider Christ as a factor in their lives instead of our country relying upon a solvent leadership from God's word and accepting it as an absolute source of truth.  If we look closely at who we have been allowing to lead this country there isn't any wonder why we have come to this place in our countries history.  I spoke in the last blog about the need for us to take an ownership of what we need to personally do in preparing our own lives  to be used as testimonies of reconciliation with the whole body of Christ throughout our community.  We cannot expect the other guy to be first in line to admit wrong doing until we can humble ourselves before God and allow Him to use our lives as examples of the humility it takes to  bee of one mind and one heart again in God's Holy Spirit.  It is then and only then that we will stand iin a place worthy of God showing His power through our lives...and not until that happens.  It is time that we gave our country back to the God that made us great in the first place.  I hope that you will begin to join with me in praying for that turn around to take place in each of our lives..  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
