ARE WE CREATED GOOD OR BAD?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
The question of our being inherently Good or Bad has been on our minds ever since mankind's fall into sin. It has been debated and argued back and forth between people of faith as much as it has between the church and the world, and yet we cannot seem to completely resolve the issue.
I think one of the reasons is the amount of guilt we feel at having been made a fool by the enemy to sin in the first place. The fact remains that we found ourselves separated from God for all eternity because of sin and disobedience.
Had it not been for God's great and perfect love for us we would have never had any chance to even seek after a relationship with God. In a way the question of "ARE WE CREATED GOOD OR BAD?" is YES!
I believe we were created good just as Lucifer was created good, and because of free will we were easily able to be manipulated by deceit and lie. I don't believe we intended to sin against God, but I do believe that we can be pretty stupid at times when we use our own wisdom to solve spiritual problems. We were created Good and allowed ourselves to be made bad, and yet God's love is perfected in us through turning our will to choose toward God's Plan of Salvation. We have the chance right now to show God what we are really made of by accepting and putting His plan of Salvation to work in our lives...remember I said HIS PLAN OF SALVATION; and not one which we create!
The entire difference is found in the way we work our will to do and to serve God's will for us. We can remain BAD or we can allow ourselves to be transformed by the renewing of our mind and heart to become NEW CREATURES in Christ Jesus. In the end the final choice will be placed upon us as well as the final consequences for the decision that we make. You are the only one who can make the final choice to be what God has created you to be or to fall into the trap that is set for you by the enemy of God. It is my prayer that you will allow God the benefit completing His purpose within your life. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
