WARS AND RUMORS OF WAR
Greetings in Christ Jesus:
The Second statement Jesus made in Matthew 24: 6 was that there will be wars and rumors of wars, but to not be alarmed; because such things must happen, but the end is not yet come.
Since the beginning of time we have had wars in this world, and yet not until our generation have we seen the kinds of wars that made no real sense. The Viet Nam war was the first war that our country had gotten into that ended up not making any sense to the American people because it did not profit us to be there nor was it a situation where our country was in peril. While there were several threats to the world by other countries and in particular leaders of Countries I still did not pay much attention until the Terrorist attacks started and the threat of wars came to be a religious war threat.
For many years I have been looking for the signs that Christ has always talked about that marked the end times. We know that "Nation will rise against Nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom. There will be famines, and earthquakes in various places; all of these are the beginnings of birth pains", and since the 60's we have been seeing these things happen with more frequency and with more power than at any time in history. The reason I watch for these things so much is that the next thing Jesus said to us is that we will be handed over to be persecuted, and put to death, and Jesus said "you will be hated because of me". If we look around us we can see this in progress right now as we speak. I believe we are living in the middle of that time frame right now, and I believe that we who live in America have not yet seen the terrible things that are about to happen. What started as conspiracy theories have now started to be shown as truth...but only just with the camps for the interment of people, and the various moves made to arm certain private sector groups like the Helms project. We are seeing a set up that will be seen completely I think by 2016. I even fear that we might not last as a Country for the next elections to take place.
When we get to that point many of the things we have been teaching over the last 3 years will fall upon this country and upon the church. Jesus tells us that many of those who had been in the church and who had said they put faith in Christ will turn away from Him and will also turn on one another. This is also a time when many of the false prophecies will pop out of the wood work and deceive many. It is a period of time when people will be very scared of the future. It is also the time when many people start to panic and grab for any kind of solutions that are available...it is a time when the Anti Christ will have a great opportunity to gain control. As I have said these are the beginning of the days we are now living in according to the explanations of Christ. We should all be watching very closely to what happens around us from this point on.
