BEING HANDED OVER

Greetings in Jesus:

Being handed over to people who willing persecute you to be put to death is a definite sign of today in much of this world.  In America we have lived in a very protected bubble over most of our existence, but I fear that protection is only as good as the constitution of this land, and if those who wish to try to destroy that constitution are successful we will find ourselves in a real blood bath.  The forms of execution are already in place...the encampments are already to go for the imprisonment of Christians, and the coffins for burial of multiple bodies is already made and waiting.

Some people would try to convince us that what Jesus has said in this chapter does not pertain to end times, but for those who read with the guidance of the Holy Spirit there can be no doubt...unless Christ has already come; but He has not!  We see a continued tendency for people to turn  away from the established church concepts; at first because they were looking for a greater truth, but later because they never found that truth.  That fault is due to those who have claimed Christ as Lord and Savior and yet when it came down to some critical point the person that watched their response to the trouble and the world around them, and did not see Christ in them.  The facts remain that for the most part we give God lip service on a Sunday Morning but no part of our lives during the week, and that screams to those outside of the church that we are really lying about our faith.

We are seeing the beginning of people falling away from the church for very flimsy reasons.  People get insulted when the truth comes calling at their door, and instead of dealing with an issue today the average person tries to hide from it.  It is time to ask ones self "what is it that stands between you and your relationship with Christ right now?"  It may be something small or it may be something that looms over head where ever  you go.

We see Jesus telling us that people will begin to betray one another and turn against one another, and hate one another.  This is the time when we will see the many false prophets coming forth to deceive many people.  I believe personally that we are living in that time frame right now.  We see a marked increase in the wickedness of men, and we can see how the love even of mothers for their children is starting to grow colder, but I thank God that Jesus said those who will stand firm until the end will be saved!  The Gospel of Salvation will be preached in the whole world...but that does not mean the whole world will accept it.

We have been speaking today from Matthew 24: 9-14, and I would very much like for you to take the time to go back and read what Christ said for yourself.  Take the time to pray and meditate upon what is said here. In the next blog we will be talking about something else that correlates very much with what is going on today, and that is finding evil standing in places that it should not be...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
