THE MESSAGE OF THE SOUL
Our soul has a message that repeats throughout our life. It is kind of like a beacon sent back to God telling Him if we are receptive to His message sent to each of us about His love and mercy toward us.
Many times that message is blurred or limited during our life time...there are moments when it has faded so badly that we cannot detect it's presence within us yet God still listens intently for a sign that any desire still stirs within us to not give up or settle for what this world tells us is all we can be. We are all in a world which does anything but to promote our personal victory at the end of life.
All we ever really get from this world is smoke and mirrors in the place of truth about who we really are. We have been created to love and to be loved as God's precious and prized creation. We have been made to walk and talk with God in ways that nothing else within this creation has. We are slated to become (if we so choose) Sons and daughters of the living God, and treated as His very own family! That creation within us is not a mistake...it is a message that is recycled throughout our lives to teach us how to see and feel through our souls.
If we dare to begin to allow God to change those parts of us that we cling so hard to in this life we will begin to sense the reality of the Spiritual places we have so long feared because they have been strange to us. Our comfort is only found through our experiencing God for ourselves. It is not a knowledge that can be learned...it must be felt personally. Once we begin to feel God's presence within us things will change dramatically. The peace we have always wanted about who we are can be felt for the first time when we allow Him to control the blend of talent and desires within our heart. We are not created to be able to do that for ourselves...we will only access that kind of completeness through God's Spirit from within us. How do I know that is true? It is because of the years I have fought against letting God be the center of my life. It is because when I did finally give in to His desire for me my life changed...not over night; but over time as I proved to God that I really wanted what He could give me
Today is just another opportunity for you to start that journey; or even to take another deeper step in the journey that you have already begun with God...don't waste time by letting someone tell you that you don't need to do any more than accept Him to find His power in you. He has already told us what we need to be doing each day of our lives...ask, seek, and knock. Give yourself to Christ today, and if He asks you to give that piece of self that you feel you cannot live without...don't hesitate the way many have...do it! you will never regret it. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
