MATTHEW 24:15-25
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
It is a fact that much of what Jesus said concerning these verse have happened in History with the Jewish people, and yet how interesting it is that history tends to repeat itself in various ways. How many time have the Jews been conquered, and then set free again?
When we see the abomination that causes desolation standing in the Holy place is a reference to Daniel, and really it may not be so focused on one person or one event as much as it is the attempt to mock or to deny the reality of God's presence. One of the biggest pushes today is that of pushing the existence of life in the universe that is now some how visiting, watching; abducting, and creating mankind. They start out by asking the question "COULD IT BE TRUE?" The wisdom of men has certainly grown tremendously over the last few generations. We find the experiementing we do on unborn babies and the genetic information we have done on human beings has given certain people the ability to almost create life...but not quite. Christ was trying to tell us is that the idea of becoming all powerful is still instilled in the hearts and minds of men through the enemy of God.
Moment by moment people are starting to buy into the idea that we are not alone...when in fact we have never been alone...we have always shared that Earth with evil and with the fallen angels who are held captive here. I have no doubt that still there are many powers at work to try to geneticly change us into servants of evil. The fact is that the sin of mankind is what is the abomination that is causing the desolation. The problem is in the message that we pick up on in our hearts to act on. I know that if I allow myself to watch too much of the Ancient aliens on TV the next thing I ask is what if this is true?... and then I go back to scripture and I find the truth.
The fact is also that when all of this comes down on the Child of God there will be few places for us to run and hide. Remember that Jesus had just said those who stand firm until the end will be saved? I believe He is saying here that the distress levels on the Child of God will be unequaled in history...even to the point that unless those days were cut short there would be no one left. Jesus said that in those days there will be many who claim they know where to find Christ...they will claim many things and come up with what appears to be miracles that prove what they say...but do not believe it. Dear friends we are starting to come into that time frame right now. We are seeing the Plan of Salvation at work in it's last stages so we should not be alarmed because we know what will take place. Stay true to your love of God and your faith in Jesus Christ; do not forsake each other as this world is starting to push you toward, do not let your love grow cold for one another, or your hearts be deceived by this world around you. The time draws near...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
