WHOEVER DOES NOT LOVE GOD DOES NOT KNOW GOD
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
1 John 4:8 " Whoever does not love God does not know God" is a statement of absolute truth, and within that truth is a completely tranquility of truth and life. This world has shown us more this last year than at any other time in history how much it hates the idea of peace and love even though mankind as a created being has said they want peace more than anything else...it appears that someone is lying.
Our world has a shadow of selfish views of what love is, and it has turned the very definition of what the word LOVE means, and continues to steal understanding of what real love is away from the younger generations of people that follow in our footsteps. What that really means is that we have to take the responsibility of making sure that God's definition of love is not lost in the shuffle.
The world has tried to give us the idea that love is what makes a person feel good, and that it is alright to sacrifice moral principals and any other rights we might have to in order to obtain such love. We all know that real love is like God is...Holy, just and perfect, and if we truly know God we will love in the same ways that He loves. There are several points about love that are made in 1 John 4:9-10 about what love really explains about God that I would like to share.
1. Love explains why God creates...because He loves. He creates us out of the need to love.
2.God cares because He loves those He has created, and wants them to succeed. It does not make any difference if they are in sin or not because He does love all of us the same.
3. Love is why we are free to choose. God wants a pure and complete loving relationship with us, and that can only be given or received through a free will to love.
4. Love is why Christ died for us...His love for us causes Him to seek a solution to the problem of sin that tries to separate us from God. It is His love that expresses itself in that way throughout time.
There is one thing that we must remember at all times and that is that nothing sinful or evil can exist in God's presence. We must change from the use of apathy and hate by choice into perfected love, and a perfected goodness that is designed within us by God's Holy Spirit. It is our choice to love as God loves that makes the difference. Do you love God? Do you know God? That is His real plan of your salvation...1 John 1:18 " Jesus has made God known" May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
