ARE THESE THE LAST DAYS?
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Many questions are being asked about the end of days recently, and what my heart is telling me about it. I can give quite a great deal of personal opinion on the subject, but what I would rather do is to allow you to make your own minds up about your faith in the word of God. I will ask you a simple question at the beginning of this writing and then let you make your own mind up. Does this sound to you like it could be written about today?
Acts 2:17-21 "In the last days God says; I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants both men and women I will pour out my Spirit in those days and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above, and signs in the Earth below. Blood and fire and billows and smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord, and everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
As I sit here after having written those words down once again I am amazed at how close this scripture describes this very day in which we all are living yet there are so few people who seem to be focused upon the immediate need to prepare their hearts for any kind of event with God directly. I am fully aware of the need for my own life to be in order during this time, and all I can do is to tell you that all over this world there are events taking place right this moment that fully also describe this scripture.
Is it not time that we began to study the word again with the idea of the Lord's presence within us? As Luke wrote in the book of Acts these accounts he was well aware of the need to have God's complete leadership in all things
Acts 2: 25-28 " I saw the Lord always before me because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices, my body will also live in hope because you will not abandon me to the grave, not will I let your Holy one see decay. You have made known to me the paths of life, you will fill me with your presence."
My friends I know that today God is beginning to speak directly to us through His word concerning the last days. These are indeed to times of warning, and the times of outpouring of God's Spirit on so many people. It is my prayer that your hearts will open up to Him and allow Him to transform you in this short time left so that you too might know the blessings of being able to clearly see His will for your life. Let God show you your own purpose, and then do all you can to fulfill it before He comes...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
