PRAYING FOR OTHERS/continued

Greetings in Jesus:

I wanted to continue with a few more thoughts on the idea of prating for others because it is so important that we get this aspect of our walk in Christ right.  Very few people understand the importance of prayer.  We may understand that a Missionary needs our prayer or that the leaders of our Church may be in great need of prayer, but not the everyday Christian.

The fact is we need prayer in our lives more now than at any time in history just to be able to stand against the things this world is throwing at us.  Paul prayed for the Colossian church even though he had never met any of them because he knew of the battles they were going through to stand for Christ.  We must understand God's will is that we all should stand together and become unified in the Spirit of God.  We need desperately to gain wisdom which can only come from the power of the Holy Spirit as He teaches us; it is the only way that we can really please God the Father, and bear good fruit of the Spirit.

As we grow in our knowledge of God we will also grow from having had experiences with God that show us the truth about His word and promises to us.  This alone will fill us with the strength of faith in God and give us the endurance and the patience to lift one another up when we are down trodden.  It takes all of us together to really be successful in running this endurance race.  We need to find that joy from Christ to lift one another up, and give God the thanks and praise as we run together.  Sometimes we are running alone...sometimes we are holding another up as we run, and sometime we are in need of support as we run this race from those all around us.

We are not on our own qualified to share in the inheritance we have been given
2 Corinthians 5:21 for He has rescued us from the dark dominion of Satan, and has made us His children.  God brought us into His eternal Kingdom Ephesians 1:5-6 and He brought our freedom from that sin and judgment  Hebrews 9:12  God has forgiven all of our sins as long as we continue to walk in Christ Ephesians 1:7.

We have every reason to pray for one another for our strength and encouragement because we need the help if not now ; most certainly in the future as we trod along. Be of good courage as we run together, help one another and pray for one another's strangth in Christ Jesus.  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
