WORRY

Greetings in Jesus:

The part that we play in making our own trouble is significant especially when we consider it hardly takes any prompting for us to worry ourselves into a pile of nerves over almost anything we feel might be out of our control.  I have had several concerns in the last two weeks about my health and the circumstances I have found myself in, but as I work through these various things with God's Spirit guiding me  I find it best to lay it down and let God fight the battle.

I am slowly finding that just as Paul was able to test God's truth and word to him; and so in doing increase his faith in what God had intended for his life, I too can trust God's Spirit in the very same way to guide and teach me a better way.  I can never have all of the answers, and yet I can and do trust that God does have all of the answers for my life.  That does not mean that all worries and questions are always answered for me, but when I do run across something that is too large for me to tackle I can simply lean upon Christ to deal with that which I cannot know.  I believe that in many ways that is what the parables are all about as well, and as we break these things down and study the various degrees of a particular subject of the Kingdom of Heaven we will see a hidden meaning.

Like with anything that crosses over from the physical to the Spiritual plains these teachings from Christ are mean to open our eyes as His followers.  This can only happen if we study His words to us in detail buy breaking it down , and looking at each point made from different angles and different points of view.  Once again this is an area where we cannot have all of the answers...sometimes we don't even know how to ask the right questions, but we can still rely on the power of God's Holy Spirit to teach us at the right moment what to say and where to go to find the answer.  Every time I sit down to write a blog I have to rely upon the power of God's Spirit to guide my mind and my hands, because I do not have the words or the ability to do so.  I want for you to know that throughout the years I have been doing this not once have I started with an idea that was not prompted by my Lord.  My part in all of this is to simply be faithful to Him.  That takes away a great deal of worry from me. Every so often when I stick my hand in a fire I get a snake attached to me that is trying to bite and poison me, but I just shake the snake off and let God deal with the poison.  He does...every time.  Dear friends I want for you to know that our very hearts are guided and drawn together as one in Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is not a religious thing, or a matter of going to a church even that does this, but it is our relationship with God.  We think that we have done something right in going to church on a Sunday Morning, and yet the assembling of ourselves together means simply that we should always seek one another out in life to fellowship and to draw strength from one another in life.  Those kinds of things are daily meetings and fellowships that take place whenever we step foot out our doors.  Sure we need to come together and worship God, but the main part of our sacrifice to God is the daily sacrifice of our life to live out His word in us.  I hope with all my heart that you understand that...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.

THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
