Unexpected Attacks
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
Over the years I have had great opportunity to share with you the word and ministry of God's Spirit as He has flowed through my life. I have had some strange things happen to me that I have never understood (at the time they occurred) , but later realized that they were actually calculated attacked to keep me from speaking forth truth that powers and principalities did not want me to reveal about our relationship with God.
The truth is very simple with only one version necessary in order to keep things straight in our hearts and minds. That simple truth is the teachings of Jesus Christ as it is found within the scriptural text of the bible. Today is not a study because I am simply too weak to use the energy to do one , but this is a testimony of how the enemy tries to throw road blocks in our way to slow us down; or create absolute traps for us to fall into that derail any efforts made to carry out God's plan for our lives. I am sharing as I can today because I am under attack physically so much that I can barely breathe, and my energy is so low that I fade just by walking across the room. Your prayers have been sustaining me during this illness, but this message is not about one man's illness, but about the attacks that we all are having in this age that are unexpected and which seem to come from no where to keep us off balance and out of our intended pattern of living for Christ.
I think that each one of us have in some way had that happen this year alone. It is as though the principalities and powers within this world that are hidden from the view of this world...even from the view of those who themselves are seemingly calling the shots are starting to lay their cards on the table. The game that has been played for thousands of years now is drawing to a close. I am keenly aware that for all of us time in our part of the outcome is being played right now...we are; even as I write this playing out our part in the grand finale of this world, and just like you I am not too keen on having to live in the last days. We don't have that choice...so what we must do is stick closer than a brother to one another in this time of hate and dis pare. It is going to be very difficult in the days ahead for us to determine who is of Christ and who is not...it will only be through the Holy Spirits reaction at time to what we hear and see that we will know the truth...Spirit will know Spirit as Paul has said. More than ever before I have to take on the mantle of one who teaches only Christ and Him crucified, and then risen from the dead. So few are teaching that simple Gospel that God has sent to us, and so few are able to stay centered in the need for regeneration of our minds and hearts toward God. I plead with you my brothers and sisters to stay focused upon Him. Do not allow these unexpected attacks from this world to change your focus on Christ Jesus. Love and blessing are yours through the grace that God has shown us...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
