EVERYTHING WILL BE BROUGHT OUT INTO THE OPEN
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I think it is really interesting that Jesus told those who listened to Him right after the Dragnet Parable in Matthew 13:47-50 that everything would be brought out into the open so that nothing could be hidden.
The concept that this puts into mind is that we will be required to reveal all that we have hidden for so long...the lies we have lived, and the games that we have played with mankind for what ever the reason is will be revealed. That should make all of us nervous when that thought comes because I think that most of us have something still within us that remains hidden from the world out of either shame or the need to look better than we really are in the eyes of the world. I have things that I really don't want this world to know even now...and the enemy uses these things to cause us to cower in a corner and keep us from being the kind of person that we project ourselves as being. The enemy uses past mistakes and flaws within our character to make sure that we are always on the defensive, but in that day there will be nothing hidden. This will not be revealed so that this world may judge us, but so that we stand completely revealed before God.
That period will be most difficult for all men no matter what their achievements are in this world. Our only hope at that moment in time will be our relationship with Jesus Christ, and the forgiveness that God the Father has given us in this life that we might be with Him for all eternity. All of the rest of this life and world will be melted away for us at that point...it will have been our test by fire that Christ speaks of. There will be no sin too great that God cannot cover it and there can be no sin or decision to try to hide your sin that will be so small that it is ignored. The only thing that will matter at a second is your relationship with God, and that seems to be the least thing that most people are concerned about in this life right now.
For me friends everyday I wake up to a new sign that God is coming soon...not in what I may consider as soon...but certainly in His timetable of what soon is. At that time the gift of time will be no more, the gift that we have of decision will be no more; the opportunity of relationship being built and strengthened with God will no longer exist...all there will be is the judgment...the separation , and the sentencing of those who are to be cast away. I cannot be strong enough in my words to you of what that day will be like, and what that time will do to change who you are as a creature. Anything from the gift of a new body that is no longer subject to the limitations of this life to the realization of what has been lost and squandered by the rejection of the Son of God will be instantly understood. There will be no trial and no arguments on either side to try to manipulate an outcome like within this world's courts. The only representations will be the basic facts of who we are, and it is those facts about us that will be revealed first. Each and everyone of us will stand accused and guilty on the basis of who we are...but just before that final Judgment is pronounced I will hear my sweet Jesus voice say...He's one of mine, He is cleaned by my blood on the cross of Calvary and He is no more guilty than I. My dear ones I look forward to that final moment with Jesus as my advocate and healer and Lord. How about you? May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
