PERSPECTIVES
Greetings in Jesus:
From time to time it is good for us all to stand back and look at the work that we do from a different perspective...I tend to do that a lot because I want for everyone to get a decent understanding of what I am trying to say. There are many people who have been fed information concerning God that has made their thoughts stale on what the church should be. In many cases the actions of the majority they see attending church has lead them to believe that the idea of God that is popular today is indeed the truth about God and that public opinion rules who God is...that is not the case.
What I am trying to say to you is that there is an absolute truth to be found in our relationship with and to God, and to His word that does not fit in any of these categories. This relationship is very personal first of all, and I don't believe we have the right to share a God with people that we don't have in our own lives. I think God is very jealous that way, and He will not share you with any other god that you might come up with or be drawn to. He has told us in the Ten Commandments that He has a hot kind of love for us that He is not willing to share.
In the perspective of these parables we have been sharing there is a new found understanding of the depth of God's love and commitment for us that we need to really understand a little better. There are many things that we might get wrong in that relationship, but one that we cannot afford to miss, and that is that it is deeply personal to Him and should also be to us. We have talked about being lead off into various directions by the world around us. Those people who either want to avoid having to stand for the principals they have said they believed in at one time or just to make life easier to get along with those who are yelling about it the most. My friends the truth never changes if it is indeed the truth...just as God never changes at the whims of men. I have been convinced that what God has told me is the truth because I have tested it for my own life.
I have also tested the concepts of church doctrines in the same ways that I have tested God's word, and I have found them to be mostly false...therefore I cannot put my trust in them any more than the atheist who walks the streets saying there is no God! The reasons I say that is because I have seen what these doctrines do to the very people that follow them rather than following Jesus alone. They separate and divide so that the enemy can destroy the people from having that relationship with God that they so desperately need.
Today we have all kinds of things creeping into our lives that want to change our perspective on Christ, and the truth that He speaks. There are not many people today who have been straight forward with that truth because it goes against some hidden agenda of men. I can tell you that I will always speak the truth according to God's word to you in a time when it is getting harder to find. I want for you to know that I need your prayer support and help to do this by coming by and making comments or sharing your point of view through discussions that we can share world wide. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
