GOD'S VIEW OF SALVATION

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

GOD'S concept of our Salvation is completely different from ours in that He started the Plan from the beginning because of His tremendous love for us.  God's goal for our relationship with Him to be family, and to have ties so strongly formed that we not only understand the feelings and the commitments of one another but that we can become one in both mind and spirit with one another as well.  In many different ways, Jesus has already explained how much God wants for us to be one with our brothers and sisters in the same way that we should be one with Jesus as He is one with God the Father.  The picture that always pops up in my mind is that of the vineyard, the vine, and the branches which are made to be one with the other.

My attention is also called to the great care that is always needed in a vineyard and the kinds of enemies that something that is so fragile must have in order to produce decent crops.  One of the problems we see today is in the kinds of people we are allowing to take care of these delicate areas of our life.  I am seeing great changes that God will obviously have to make in the church starting very soon if there is to be anyone left who truly does believe in the Good News Message that Jesus was sent to deliver to us. In truth, God's view of Salvation is an invitation to His children to come home to live and to be with Him.  He backs that message up not only by what He says through His Son but then He proves that love again by the sacrifice of that same Son for the sins that we have committed against Him.  No matter how you look at that act you have to see love on God's part for us as His creation.  It also is the reason that God must change things in the church in order to show that even with all of the love He has for us  He both cannot, and will not accept anything less than His requirement of Spiritual perfection in His children.  That is why starting very soon now we will start to see visible evidence of Spiritual pruning starting to happen within the church.

You see dear friends God must prune the vines in order to bring about fruit.  There is something even of greater importance to God that must happen through this pruning in the church.  We must all become of the same mind and heart as Christ if we are going to have that signature power of God's Spirit in our lives.  Interestingly enough that isn't just so we can bear good fruit, but so that we can once again fellowship as one family particularly when we all enter into the Kingdom Heaven for all eternity.  Quite frankly I have seen a few (so-called) Christians whom I would not like to be in the same space with throughout eternity!,,, How about you?

My point here is that God is looking at our situation from the standpoint of trying to get us to agree with Him without adding to the mix with our own pre-requirements in conditions of our fellowship with one another It is very interesting that God never put any creeds or doctrines in our fellowship and worship hoping that we could be both mature and loving enough with one another to not have to have Him keep us from fighting over who is right...especially when no one but God is right! The Father has told us that no one will enter into the Kingdom if he hates his brother.  Don't you think its time to get out the pruning shears?  May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
