THE DECORATION OF LIGHT
The simple purity of light as it streams through a window in the morning hours is enough to put on the finishing decoration to a new day.
This simple mystery has been studied by the greatest minds of humankind and yet has never been adequately answered for the world. The reason why is the world does not want to listen to the truth about its creation or purpose. The world certainly does not want to listen to someone telling it that "Resistance to God is futile." God not only the sole owner but the sole creator of all that we sense and experience around us. In that simplistic viewpoint is the greatest truth that the mind of man could ever have, and yet it is the nature of rebellion and hates that is a part of the evil that wants so desperately to control the very fabric of who we are meant to be.
Denied the craving to rule and create on its own the pure evil of deceit and sin was cast from Heaven never to fulfill its desires, but rather be cast into a place void of life and creation. God found that He needed to take one last step in our development as His greatest creation of all to be declared His own child who was created in His own image as a family. Having placed all of that potential in us the simple question was could He now trust self will in us any more than He could trust Lucifer with it? Since God wanted to prevent any more rebellion of self will He needed to find out who we are individually before accepting us with open arms and trust. God put a covering over this place created to be a prison and the beauty of it is what we have all seen around us during our lives. It is because of God's great love for us as His own that He has held in His heart from the beginning. When we also failed to keep His will because of the same problems and flaws in our ability to not be convinced we could not be like God a plan of our Salvation was put into place where those who would accept God's Son might be saved. The simple truth is that we already live on the disguised surface of the prison built to hold the greatest evil ever known. Those who refuse God will remain here, for the old heavens and earth will pass away, and a New Heaven and Earth will be created with God as our light and protection.
Whenever we look at the simplicity of light in a day perhaps we can see it in a slightly different way than we have because everything that God does has a reason behind it. A simple ray of His light upon your day may be meant to give you a sense of love and encouragement. Something that seems to be unconnected in your life may become a tool for God to turn you around and accept His love for you as truth. It is my prayer that you will let the light in to warm and replenish your life. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
