GOD IS CHANGING HIS CHURCH

                    GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:

       In today's world, there are so many changes coming so fast that we can barely keep up with them.  As God continues to open my eyes to see the things going on around me I see an old trick that the enemy is still using to get us off balance as Christians.  The enemy tries to throw so much at us that we get overwhelmed in trying to handle it all.  After a while, we simply give in to the fight and we are overcome by the sheer number of things we have to do.   When we get involved so deeply in the things of this world we no longer have the time to make good solid decisions.  Many times it is those things that have sustained us in less chaotic times like our desire to pray or take the time to meditate on something allowing God to speak to us about a troubling decision we must make that would cause us to make a completely different decision.  I am reminded of the pressure salesman that can't wait for us to think about signing an agreement because the time is NOW!  When we fly through life we make many mistakes that we should not because there seem to be too many things going on at once and we get confused by them.

  This Season is one of those hustle-bustle times when we should be using our heads instead of being overpowered by the world's demands of us.  Before you make that last minute purchase before Christmas Day stop to pray about what you are doing and allow God to help you through.  Don't allow yourself to get pressured into spending more than you can afford, and don't allow the noise and lights of this season to confuse your resolve to let God lead you.  There is very little that we can actually control in this world other than who we listen to for advice, so listen to God this year  We only have a few days before Christmas this year so let's make the most of it.  We have had a great year in the Lord this year.  Please continue to pray for me as the year winds down.  We are all going to be under a great amount of pressure this coming year.

  God is changing His church. He is changing the way it looks the places we are gathering and hopefully, we are getting away from the ties to this world that have been holding us back for so long a time.  The large megachurches are starting to dwindle and the home churches and small groups are much more effective than ever for the message of Christ to be lived out.  Accountability is on the rise among these smaller groups because those who are simply playing church to be seen have nowhere to hide.  As this year winds down I can feel the presence of God's Spirit calling to these smaller groups to begin to make real change in one another. I praise God for that because we have needed accountability for such a long time now.  While we are each one called to his own walk with Christ we need to be finding people of kindred spiritual calling so that we can begin operation and encouragement in the bond of love for one another and to do the work that God has put us here to do.

  My life is only a small part of your ministry for Christ Jesus, and together we can encourage the church in ways that no one ever thought possible in 2019.  Get those presents wrapped up and ready for the Christmas Morning chaos! May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
