ITS CHRISTMAS TIME!

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
There is no time during the year when our attentions are turned more toward the joy that we so desperately sought after as mankind than during the Christmas Season For the world around us it is a simple mask that is used to deceive in general the true intention of greed and control. I want to thank God for those who really understand the meaning of this Season in trying to bring out the heartfelt, but mostly shut-up love that we should feel the rest of the year.
It is at this time of year that our love for God should shine brighter and more truthful than at any other time of the year. In order to do that we have to be filled with that love until it spills over in our lives. This is the time when we should be like the coffee bean that releases its flavor in the harshest of circumstances and by doing so changes the circumstances around it into a new brew of flavorful life. Our reaction to the hate of the world around us will be the very thing that changes the desperate souls of men in this world.
In my mind, there are many and varying needs in the human heart that can only be reached by a pure intent of heart toward giving when everyone else is doing nothing but taking. That contrast between the attitude of giving and take goes hand in hand with that of light and dark because we always have both within us at the same time. The victor in our lives depends on which one of these very spiritual tra tits we are willing to feed the most within us. The sad thing is that we do not realize we don't have to have a special training to have the power of light and giving in life; we simply need to love others without needing to get something in return. That seems to be the main difference between God's love and the love of this world. God's love remains unconditional toward us; it offers us salvation based on the condition of having a complete relationship with Him through Christ Jesus. The love from this world is always conditional depending on what kind of profit it can make on the relationship it has with us. That attitude always comes back to "what is in this for me".We have the chance to turn the darkness into light this year. Perhaps there is a word of encouragement or a loving smile that can be given to someone who might not be able to continue through the night without being loved in your own special way. None of us can do all that is needed, but we can all do a small part to push the light in the center of the room and hold it as high as we can. Help me spread the love and joy that God has given to us as His gift to us. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
