WE ARE CAMPING OUT ON A NEW DAY
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
If we are watching closely enough we have been seeing slight changes in our attitude toward spiritual things in this country over the last several years. It feels as though we are camped out on a new day coming to life in history.
Jesus has told us about the various events that are coming about within the human cultures which will turn this world on its ear when it comes to our personal commitment to living our life for God. One of the basic things that God needs to know from those of us who proclaim Him as Lord of our lives surrounds our truthfulness about what we really say and our commitment to God when we are forced to choose Him over this world. All kinds of things come into play when we begin to have to make serious choices about our beliefs versus the demands of the world around us to conform to what the social dictates are. History has seen this happen over and over again as various powers and governments assume temporary control over a social structure.
I think the most important thing we can weigh all of this against is the fact that God is in charge and He has been all this time. God has an agenda that He wants to complete in His perfect timing which is to fulfill His plans for mankind through testing each man's intent of heart concerning how he feels and believes in God at his very core. That answer has become one of yes or no more than right or wrong based upon God's act of sacrifice on our part to eliminate the power of sin to separate us from God for all eternity. The enemy has always tried to turn the argument away from what the actual question is for us of " Do we accept or reject God's offer"; and more into who do we feel should be in charge? The truth has never been found in what we feel or what we might want, but what is. That truth is we were never meant to be in charge because that isn't why we were given free will. It is all about our making a free will choice as to who we are willing to serve; God or Self, and then accept the consequences of that choice. Starting this month we are going to be dealing with the things that God's Spirit is poking at my heart with about how change is coming within the church and within society as a whole. I want to camp out on this new day thatGod is bringing our way, and just why it is needful for these things to happen to resolve some of the problems we face in today's church communities. Be in prayer with me on this as we will be dealing with some issues we all know in our hearts must be resolved before we can enter together into a perfected state of mind and heart in Christ Jesus. At the center of that is to determine who is in total control. May you richly bless God through your life in Him
