SINCERE DEVOTION

Greetings in Jesus:

For many years now I have tried my best to deliver sincere devotion to what God desires to say in my life to you who come and read these blogs.  I have seen people come and go in my life as I have continued to serve.

I am finding there is a great, but almost undetected movement going on in the church as a whole in this age.  It is a pruning of people from the mainstream of church today, and what I mean by that is that people are either being pulled away from the church or they are deciding to leave for various reasons.  While there is still time in making various choices about what side of the fence we may fall on in certain issues we face in the church we attend I want to let you know that the time is growing very short for us to get some things right in the sight of God before He pulls the string on the next phase of His Plan of Salvation for those who are His people.
I am not any kind of prophet or special person at all...just a voice that God's Spirit is using to speak to those of you who are willing to hear with spiritual ears.  My concern isn't for those of us who understand what God is doing with the Bride of Christ, but for those who have been allowing themselves to be led around by various doctrines that have been showing a form of Godliness and yet lacking the power of God in their lives.  It is these brothers and sisters who are being deceived in one way or another about what is so important to God that I am trying desperately to reach in this Season and in this coming year.

What we do not see on the surface, but which continues even now is a pruning of people for various reasons, and we need to understand that process.  For some the process is good and they need to move on to some place where they can be fed spiritually, and grow in their faith in Christ.  For others is a pruning of what God sees as dead branches from among the living vines and branches.  For some people who have decided that they will refuse to grow or try to seek God any further in life a decision will ultimately be made for them, and their heart will finally grow dark and uncaring toward those around them, and they will find excuses to pull away for some selfish reason that no one else can understand.  There will be others who will be transplanted in different places for the very purpose of starting new growth just as it was done with the first churches.  There will also be people who have been an irritant to the growth of a community who will either stay with a dying and rotting attitude that kills off a complete ministry which has become non-effective because of it's resistance to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

If we take the time to look around us we can begin to see these things revealed to us through the Holy Spirit, but the important thing is our response to what these things are saying to us.  I want to be as sincere as I possibly can with what I am telling you.  This has not as yet bubbled to the surface of our country as yet, but it is right now just below the surface of being both made aware to the public and is being used by the enemy of God to further public opinion about the Church and about us as Christians.  For a long time now we have been praying revival, but we need also to be aware of what that will mean; for at the heart of revival will also be great persecution. It is something to consider for 2019. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
