WITHOUT FAITH IN GOD'S SPIRIT WE CAN DO NOTHING
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
In the last verse found in Matthew 7: 24-29 Jesus has given us a final word on the ways we must build upon our faith in Christ. That way is to not deviate from the message or the words that Jesus has already delivered to us. That means that we cannot expect to change the message to fit a life style or an ideal that we would prefer to live by that is different from what Christ has told us. If we change anything in that message then we risk not following the word that is given to us and missing altogether the Plan of God's Salvation for us.
I don't know why it is that people are always so amazed when they hear a truth that is so straight forward that it cannot be denied. I think part of it is the attitude "You can't dare to do that because we have decided we want something different that we can control" It is so unfortunate that self will gets in the way so much in our lives, but I think that God may have realized this early on in our creation when He gave us self will, and then saw what it did to Lucifer.
We may want to please God in our minds, but we must get the wildness that is created within us under control first. In many cases we must be broken in like a stallion that has been allowed to run free for a time. It is not in our nature to be subdued as a creature of self awareness and self will, and yet God knows that the purest kind of love is that which is given out of a hearts desire to please and love completely. I think for all of us there is this wild part of us that must be somehow tamed. God will not allow us to enter into Heavens Gates without perfection. That perfection in love is found only in our desire to give ourselves out of gratitude for what has been given to us.
This gift requires a sacrifice on our part that in our heart equals that which God has given to us out of His free will to love us even though we did not deserve that love. We have to seek after Him and love Him from the same place within our free will that He gave to us. God loved us anyway; even when He knew that most of us would reject Him He still gave us an opportunity to show Him that some of mankind could still have enough understanding to see the nature of God and respond to that nature in a like way. There would be some who would respond out of gratitude and genuine love in return for a chance to be with God to accept His Plan of Salvation. My friends it is to those who respond to God that He in turn will take home with Him when He returns; it won't by any means be all of us who are saved, and it won't be all of those who have professed to love God that will be saved either because so many are still trying to play games with Him. All that we need to really do is take the word and look at it closely to see what that message really is that has been given to us by Christ. With all of my heart I can tell you that the truth is not based upon much of what we are hearing today. The message has been watered and deluded down to the point that we can accept almost anything as Christian today. We need to take this message seriously and truthfully into our hearts...may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
